i dont think we should rule out the possibility that her real parents were killed, or forced to give her away, when she was a baby.

if she was chosen for the ceremony when she was born maybe they put her with more sheltering and religious parents so they could raise her for whatever the order needs her for.

its also possible her father might have been lying to her to make her resist her mother and the order... maybe when everything went down and they were forced to leave the house the dad uncovered something or realized something and wanted to get bree out of it, the mom wouldnt let him? maybe the mom was very involved in the order and when they met bree and her dad at the parking structure they were trying to stop him from telling her to not trust her mom, but they were too late?

i think... she was abducted from her totally normal birth parents because she was "the chosen one" somehow. the order had probably been watching her birth parents for a while, maybe even trying to convert them, or convince them to have a baby. and then someone in the hospital (an order person, maybe even bree's dad... we know he's into biology and medicine) stole her away and GAVE HER the watcher mark. like, branded her, securing her in the order. that also protected them because if the birth parents saw her and said "thats our baby," mr. and ms. bree could say "well did your baby have this birthmark? nooo". unless the order killed the birth parents. i wouldn't put it past them.

oooh one more thing.... amazingly off topic but still
i dont think they were going to kill her, even to strengthen jonas (with that whole twin soul thing, which i love btw), bc they were giving her iron supplements and epogen. so they were going to take blood, but they wanted her to survive.

i voted abduction because if it was adoption then why did her parents feel such a need to lie? and with adoption your parents are your legal parents.. it's considered 'real'... and then why is she so mad at her mom? idk, i just think it's something more upsetting than "we adopted you surprise."

also.. i think the scientifically engineered theory is really cool. don't judge.
