Hi.

It is an awkward thing for me to write this. I don't even know who you people are.

I understand you know Kris. I don't know much about him. I believe you know what took place in London. I don't need to tell again what you already know. Kris is ill I believe. He didn't sleep for a week, his health has been deteriorating very rapidly. He looks like a junky from Naked Lunch going through withdrawal. Under different circumstances, I would think Kris is just a drug addict who tried to mess with the wrong people.

Kris said a lot of things I don't understand yet, about the people after us, about my father. I know there were people after us. I've seen them. I've seen what they did in my house. But I don't know who they are nor why they would want anything from me. I'm just a biochemist like my father. And I certainly don't know why the guy who's cleaning the office in Oxford would want to save my life or have anything to do with all this!

I'm sure those people in London won't come here anyway. I feel safer. Kris needs to do whatever it is he does with his life. And I need to rebuild a life for me.

I can understand why you are nervous around him!

Mary, I don't think you are a lot safer. Sure, it might take them longer to find you. I just don't want you to let your guard down.

Are you capable of protecting yourself? Do you know how to escape quickly from the areas you frequent?
