Posted this in CLUES too...but it seems the conversation is also here...
Theory of M:
Based upon the following information on YouTube responses by M:
"Like, where were you when she needed you? (I know were I was, but we don't really need to talk about that right now.) Now she's like this. We did a bang-up job, didn't we"
and:
“But if I'm going to stick my neck out, I have to know that it's worth it. That you're here, that you're still resisting. That you're ready to fight and put it all on the line. Maybe then we might see more of each other.”
and:
The fact M knew that Daniel was being recorded...
What if -M- is really Michael Carruthers: The Elder who received Bree's blood during the ceremony? We KNOW where he was during the ceremony, and as an elder he would be sticking his neck out by letting us see these things. The "We did a bang-up job, didn't we" could refer to what the ORDER did to Bree, now how the community failed her. And, he would know Daniel is being watched. AND he would know the historical documents regarding the fall of the order that occurred after the resistance (see post I made on the e-mail).
WHY would Michael be helping us? That is where I am less clear. Maybe he has had a falling out with the order. Maybe this is a trap for Daniel? I am not sure. However, the cryptic hints make me think this may be a real possibility. _________________ Fallacy does not cease to be fallacy because it becomes fashionable |

well there's the theory that the personality can travel with a donated organ or limb so a full person to person dialysis might give the spirit of the girl to the man. Her sorrow, her duty, her pain, her sacrifice. Now it's his. /tinfoil _________________ Better than a high school reunion!! |

Cool theory. Definitely takes that "Well, I know where I was..." line into account. He could have been tricked into believing in the Order and has shifted his loyalties. Maybe "trait positive" blood does not work. Or maybe he has an illness and it doesn't work for him (like, if he has cancer or something). I guess that would be a little dark for LG15. But too dark for LG15 all growed up? I'm not sure. (Yes, that was a Rugrats reference) _________________ "Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. I like this theory, but I have something of a nitpick:
Quote: | "Like, where were you when she needed you? (I know were I was, but we don't really need to talk about that right now.) |
Quote: | We KNOW where he was during the ceremony |
I don't think the idea of that line referring to the Ceremony quite makes sense. The community, and TAAG especially, were there trying very hard to save Bree at that exact moment, so in that case it reads less like "You let her down" and more like throwing the biggest failure of Daniel's life back in his face. More vindictive than mournful, if that makes sense. Not a great way to start off if you're trying to reach out and form an alliance.
Anyway. It's an interesting theory, except for that little part that's bugging me. And I am very curious about that "I know where I was" line. _________________ ~Karen |

Very good point. I think maybe the person is testing our loyalties. Or they could be speaking to someone in particular. (Like how Tachy spoke to Brother in her original videos.) _________________ "Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof."

I wish there was a way to view the YouTube user activity so we could more easily track comments/likes made by M. |

That sure seems like the beginning to the Grillz video where the intro says:
"the world is a rough place. so we're toughening our image"
Could provide some insight into who M could be.
(Had to remove link because this is my first post.) |

It's definitely a reference to the Grillz description, which is pretty neat. I feel like there's going to be a lot of so-called continuity porn for longtime fans, and little references like this are probably just the beginning.
Echoing everyone who's said they wish there were an easier way to track all of a user's comments on Youtube. When I was on the LG15 channel's main page the other day, it said it was last active a week ago, and even if that just meant someone was logged in, it got me curious. Though they probably do want to make the most important interactions easy for us to spot right now, and fans who get a reply are likely to excitedly show other fans. _________________ pass the salt, pour the wine

So I know that the OS that is being used is Ubuntu.
I just saw the following image on Pinterest and it peaked my interest.
According to Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_(philosophy)
Quote: | Ubuntu is a Nguni Bantu term roughly translating to "human kindness." It is an idea from the Southern African region which means literally "human-ness", and is often translated as "humanity towards others", but is often used in a more philosophical sense to mean "the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity" |
Is it possible that the use of Ubuntu as an OS in the video is a double meaning, hinting back to the original African definition? _________________ -Kelly |

Interesting theory, it definetly reflects Bree being brought into the Order and their system. It may just be a little easter egg, but if its bigger than that it could shed some light on how Bree is alive/with the order. Good find. |
