There is a theory floating around in IRC right now that the "Boss" from the email chain is Sarah.

We believe that the snippet was given to us again because we missed something. Combined with the "She loves her Plath" comment and the fact that Sarah's pet was named after a Plath character (I think it was a character and not Plath herself). Leads us to think it is Sarah.

Now there may be more to that page that we are missing, but right now this is our theory. It makes sense.

First of all, thank you to Angelique and James for going. I'm really glad that you guys saw Daniel there. That says to me that he's still willing to give M a chance, and him seeing you guys there lets him know that we, as a community, still have his back.

Okay. M giving us the email again and pointing out the Plath connection pretty much convinces me that the "Boss" is Sarah.

I'm very interested in how some names are blacked and some aren't. (And some only partially, like Daniel H.) I wonder if M is doing any of this redacting or just passing them along as is. And if she is redacting, I wonder if there's some pattern. Does she want us to look into the names that she's letting us see?

It looks to me like we're seeing documents from three different cases:
1.) Hillcrest Medical Center, location unknown (to me). It seems M has had a run-in with them in the past, and may again if they're not willing to listen to their IT director. So a woman had a baby there and it went missing, along with all the medical records.
2.) St. Agnes Medical Center, somewhere in or near Fresno, California. Baby was born early Feb. 2nd and kidnapped on the 3rd, and the mother is seeking a lawsuit.
3.) Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, Kentucky. Baby born April 2015. The police seem to either think the mother is crazy or maybe they're on the take? The mother reached out to a P.I. and/or lawyer (I can't quite tell) who also refused to take the case. She died in April of this year, and M seems convinced it wasn't suicide. (This letter kind of breaks my heart, guys, not gonna lie.)

I'm wondering why M is just giving us hints of these cases. I guess to drive home the scope of what's going on.

I talked more about the character sheet over in the "Who is M?" topic, but my big takeaways are:
a.) "Player's Name: Diane" seems to confirm that that is M's real name.
b.) "Cabal: The Misfits" seems to hint at a connection to Taylor and/or Spencer. I know "LG15: The Misfits" isn't canon, but TPTB can't put that in and not have us pick up on it. Come on, y'all.

Daniel's video today almost made it seem like there was nothing for us to figure out in these documents, as he was given the addresses, which seems a bit off.

Maybe the dots in the character sheet are Morse code or some other way of communicating that needs to be broken? Braille maybe? Just some thoughts. hoping to help as this migraine is preventing me from seeing anything obvious.

Don't know about the dots, but "reality hacker" really seems to jump out at me. Maybe it's saying that the lines between canon and not canon are a little blurry. "The Misfits" makes more sense that way Wink

Also, the most obvious reason for a flashlight is that M is trying to shine a light on something. And sending something we've already been given seems to indicate we're missing something. And, it being X-Files swag tells me "trust no one."

All seems kinda obvious, but just need it written down somewhere so someone can tell me if I'm being to literal with some of the clues. lol
