How did I get to the LG15 forum? Well, glad you asked, it's the FUNNIEST thing...
In early September, after going on a photo safari of the Serengeti and returning to my villa in Cyprus, I got a phone call from a colleague in New York. This person informed me of "big game", but the phone call was cut off and I never heard the rest. (It seems she has an inferior celluar carrier.)
Well, being the enthusiast for the sporting life that I have always been, I instructed my house-servant Lambros to summon my car to take me to the airport, and I flew back to New York immediately.
Unfortunately, I got caught up for a couple days with some business affairs, seems that some of my finances were off kilter due to a corrupt accounting firm that I had hired a while back, so my personal accountant and I straightened that out while my attorney proceeded with the suit against them. After this, I had a gallery opening and a book signing to attend, and you know how that goes, people are just CONSTANTLY talking to you and asking questions....
Anyway, when I FINALLY made it back to my place and had a good night's rest, several days after returning to NY, mind you, I returned my colleague's phone call and inquired about the "big game" she had promised me. Well, turns out the "big game" was nothing more than this Alteration Reality Game (something like that) called "LonelyGirl15".
You can imagine my shock and dismay to find that the "big game" was not a herd of elk in the Rockies or Bengals in the jungles of India, but rather a silly child's game about a young girl and her mundane exploits, all captured on video and presented in a cyber-forum for the commoners!!!
Nonetheless, I looked into it, and decided it was my duty and philanthropic obligation to assist the commoners in playing this "game"; thus, I am here today.
I told you it was a funny story!!!

I used to watch it a lot, some of my frineds are really into anime, so they call me Kimmi Chan. One that I like, but that's cancelled is Kenshin. I'm not as big into tv as I used to be. _________________ Kimmi-Chan loves you!!! |

Ugh, am I the only 29 year old here who sadly feels 30? I started feeling very old in the last couple of years when a) I got hitched (eloped, actually!), and b) I saw a college kid wearing a "vintage 1977" t-shirt.
I thought that lg15 would make me feel a little more au courant, but I am *always* late to the forum party, as my 'suspiciously absent' title now attests. |

Ikwym, tryon, but it's prolly just a phase. I have days where I feel quite old as well. Just think of your "vintage" self as a fine wine, getting better every day. When I first hit the three-oh I was a little shocked that I got here so fast. But it feels ok now, since I'm enjoying life. (Either that, or I'm just in denial, heh). _________________
