I really don't like her, I just don't like her character and I want her to go away. Does anyone else agree? I just want the plot to stay the main focus on Daniel and Bree, thats the best way, I don't want someone else to come in and add their own videos and stuff.

I agree. She semmed sweet, but then she told Bree 'to take things more seriously', I didn't like that.

Considering that Gemma is a member of the same religion Bree follows, I think that her being slightly harsh with Bree should tell us that the ceremony is potentially dangerous. Gemma did state that it may not be up to Bree to decide if she will participate in the ceremony. Bree may not have a choice in the matter. That sounds disturbing to me. Anyone else thinking this way?

I agree with prudence...and I think it's silly for us all to go crying like babies because there's a new character. Let's see where it takes the story and stop worrying about it....it's like a new kid in High School, I swear.

Yeah, same here. I think its cool they are using more charactors...it will make the story a little more complex. I personally think that we need to find out where Gemma is posting her videos from...maybe have her show us her room or outside a window. We need more clues from her--that'll make her interesting. She seems like the opposite of Bree though...independant and mature..and Bree isn't either of those things.

I think she could be good for Bree...give her something to look forward to, that people of her religion CAN become that independant type she seems to want to be...but isn't allowed to be.

I think people need to at least just give Gemma a chance, though, instead of making all these threads like this. She's here for a reason, let's see the reason.

It doesn't make sense to hate Gemma because of her last video. She isnt bashing bree, she is just giving her a warning, because she is worried about her.

Bringing in a new character, especially if she will be sort of the "antihero" to Bree, will make the story far more interesting. At least wait until she posts more videos to decide if you like it or not.

I was pointing out that it doesn't make any sense to hate Gemma because of her attitude, because the point of her attitude is to help the story get more interesting by adding conflicting characters.

Nah, I don't want her to go. I noticed something, though. First, Bree told Daniel he had to take things more seriously, then Gemma said the same to Bree. Prolly doesn't mean anything much, just something I noticed.

I like her character for the simple reason that it's one more person to give us insight on what is going on. I think that's important when it's such a secretive religion that might even be better understood once you are outside of it and not being fed the same lines over and over.
