Well, given the latest developments (the apparent disappearance of Bree's parents), it looks like the most likely candidates for the Order to threaten in order to have leverage over Bree are her parents.
And if the Order is willing to go that far in order to force Bree's participation, we can figure out two things:
1) The ceremony's awfully important to the Order;
2) The content of the ceremony must be something that Bree would absolutely refuse to do if the Order wasn't threatening to harm her parents.
My theory has been that the ceremony may involve Bree sacrificing Daniel. But I'd be interested in hearing everyone else's theories given these latest developments. |

Well, "something" has happened now, and it's another apparently-unrelated video from Gemma. Which makes no sense, since Gemma's indicated in her past vids that she can see Bree's vids just as we can. Why would she be saying, two days after Bree's last post, that she hasn't heard anything from Bree?
Anyway, I think Gemma was probably trying to drop clues again for Bree. Paraphrasing Gemma: "People you think are really nice turn out to be beasts. And I don't mean Danielbeasts."
Maybe the ceremony will involve some cult members playing the role of "beasts"/animals of some sort? |

| I think that Gemma's reference to beasts was directed to the deacons of her church, Lucy, and even possibly her parents. We are hoping that they were kidnapped by the Order to force Bree to do the ceremony, but we don't know for sure if that is what happened. For all we know, they told her to spend the night at Daniels so that they could go away and finish preparations for the ceremony at the Deacons request. Or they could be using her fear for their safety to get her to do the ceremony, which is what they originally wanted. As much as we want to believe that they have been kidnapped by the order, we can't say for sure. |
