Konfabulate I agree with you. People here are not being appreciative of the Creators Work.
The spend money and time on making these videos. When they got the chance to at least get some money back by posting on Revver people said they were being greedy. In every video someone finds something to complain about, instead of praising their efforts and hard work. Did you even know that at the beginning the actors did this for free?
I already wrote to Gemma apologizing for everyone's hostility here...

The point of art, media, film, etc. is for people to interpret and/or discuss it. We are.
However, it is difficult to do with this incongruent video, seemingly out of place with the current plot.
The point of THIS series, I'm sure, is to gain popularity with viewers and be well-received enough to earn notoriety to move on to bigger and better money-making things.
So, "konfabio," what exactly is your problem with what's taking place here?
Your morality story doesn't fit here, sweetie. We aren't the guests getting free cake. We are an audience being entertained and catered to. We are the fanbase they depend on.

You seem to forget that it's the creators who announced that this experiment is supposed to be "interactive". They gain from our input as much as we gain from their vids. Both sides hope this is just the beginning of a new entertainment medium and our feedback is critical to it's success. To paraphrase Captain Kirk, "Together we shall boldly go where no man has gone before..."

I see what you are saying I just don't think that it is applicable to the situation. With reguards to the fact that LG15 is free on the face of things this is true. However if you look when the videos end there are advertisments which i am sure that the creators get money for so it isn't that they are doing this completely out of their own pockets they are doing it for both entertainment reasons but they are probably also making some money from it.
These forums were created so that the fans of lonelygirl15 could get together and discuss what they thought about the videos. That is what people have done reguarding this video just as people comment on episodes of lost or south park etc. It is only through listening to the criticism and the praise that things can grow and develope.

spaciegirl, i don't know about the rest of the folks here, but i find your comments above entertaining and fun. especially voicing the frustration most of us feel at the apparently vapid vid when we were all expecting something more on point. rock on.

Yes, exactly..and in an adult critique/ feedback situation, "complaints" should be weighed just as much as the praise (in many cases, even more so). I'm sick of being accused of, and seeing others being accused of "bitching" and "moaning" just becuase we have an opinion that happens to differ from those of you who think every single video is just dandy.

Please everyone (spacie, konfab, etc.) stop attacking each other. Yes, you may disagree, but don't make it personal and don't try to belittle someone else for how they think (and frankly, that IS how it sounds).
I agree with konfab, frankly. And I would point out that complaints that things are boring or irrelevant aren't going to make a difference. But you're welcome to complain.
I'd suggest, though, instead of filling the video threads with complaints about how bored you are and how pissed you are, you do it in the complaints and concerns section and leave this section for discussing the video. (Not that there's much to discuss here, imho).

I have no problem with that, but I think if I'm "bitching" about this video it belongs here. I don't think that all bitching and complaining has to go in the "Concerns and Complaints" area...just the general "bitching". (to be technical)

Generally true, but when 80% of the posts are back and forth bitching about a video or such, there's no real discussion of the video itself! So then it gets very tough for anyone who wants to discus the video to wade through it...
