I don't need any crappy fairy tale ending..but they started as a team, just seems they should end it as a team.
I don't think Bree and Gemma can carry the story line on their own. They aren't even in the same friggin' country! Without someone there to tell her what to do, Bree will probably just curl up in a ball and weep anyway. Or maybe her and P Monkey will play "I Spy" for the rest of the show.  |

i just want something really dark and scary to happen.
i haven't had a good pissing-myself since cassie made that stupid second life video. maybe daniel's dead spirit will have ghost sex with cassie and they will be a dead family and possess bree's family and then more scary things will happen and things will bleed and we will all grimace at the gruesome images to which we have been exposed.
seriously though creators, scare the shit out of me. i'm bored. |

Something is fishy here. From the tone of the note, Yousef's been let go, not the character. So if you believe the note, either someone will replace him as Daniel or they'll hurriedly write Daniel out of the show. These would both seem to be disastrous errors. So either Yousef has run up against some sort of insurmountable acting challenge that can't be rewritten.... which is difficult to imagine in this sort of show.... or Yousef and the Creators are at some kind of artistic impasse... which is possible, but c'mon.... or the note is a head fake of some kind.
My vote is for head fake. Daniel will APPEAR to die or, more likely, get hopelessly left behind. But then.... when we least expect it...
BTW, Yousef is probably bound by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) but that probably can only prevent him from discussing LG15 secrets. His employment status is his own information and probably not coverable by NDA.

Maybe it will be all soap-opera style and they'll get in a car wreck..then the new Daniel will only ever be shown in a full body cast with his head wrapped up..and only the eyes poking out.

Well if this is just a ploy to gauge opinion on Daniel, it's a terrible way to do it. I'm downright furious right now, and if the admin's pop out saying "SIKE! Daniel's back!" I'll probably be even more furious.

I don't think the Creators would do something like that. If they were to do this it would be through the character's myspace profile, not the actor's page. This appears to be something Yousef has done on his own.
