Yes, I think you're right... makes sense she'd check there.
There's clearly something in there, but I can't tell what it is. It sorta looks like a glass ashtray... probably nothing.

Hmmm....They definitely wanted us to notice that Daniel was reading the bible. Elsewise, Bree'd have said, "Bible from bedside table; check" and left it at that. But, she made a point of making sure we KNEW that she took it from Daniel. Hmmmm...
So, can someone humor me? Let's come up with various and sundry reasons why the Beast would be reading the bible...
*Most obvious; he's getting religion. But, there's nothing OBVIOUS about this series, imo.
I'm interested in everyone's take on this...have at.

Yuck.. the video creeps me out. Some one needs to tell Daniel to get off the bed cover. There was a study done on hotels/motels from the cheapest to the most expensive and they found that they rarely wash the top cover. (shudders and gags). Can you imagine the layers of gunk and ... ewww.. that builds up? I have serious concerns about whether some of these places even wash the bed sheets. Somebody fedex some lysol to the Quality Inn Motel.. double quick.
Ugh, and then there's the fact that bed bugs are on the rise...

I didn't think of that! That's a good thought... and if it's true, then it really makes it clear that Gemma and Bree are speaking back and forth in code.
But if so, how would they know each other's code? I mean, it's not clear to us, and Bree and Gemma hardly know each other now... but it would mean we'd have to see Gemma's videos differently!

That's a really good theory. I wonder if she checked the stuffed animals and Daniel's car, though. Since she's holding Owen at one point (to confirm the shower cap), that might be "code" for "Yep, I checked the toys too." Still, there's Daniel's car, which seems like the most obvious thing to have bugged. They had been watching him watch them previously, and if you were going to track somebody, it makes more sense to bug their car than their girlfriend's (sort of) stuffed animals. You can throw away/leave behind a stuffed animal. Typically, you don't throw away your car. |

I like this idea....
It is strange that they are not in more of a panic and trying to hide better then just staying in a room... especialy if the authorities are involved... daniel must have had a job before this so they can pay for this room ....... he obviously won't have one now after being missing for so long......
are they possibly dumb enough to use credit cards....
