"In gambling, snake eyes is the outcome of rolling the dice in a game of craps and getting only one pip on each die. The pair of pips resembles a pair of eyes, which is appended to the term 'snake' because of the long-standing association of this word with treachery and betrayal. The dictionary of etymology traces that use of the term back to 1929.[1], although it may be traced all the way back to the ancient Roman dice games, where 'Dogs' represented two ones. In modern parlance, it refers to such a roll in any game involving dice.
Because this is the lowest possible roll, and will often be a loser in many dice games, the term has been employed in a more general usage as a reference to bad luck.

No I thought you were joking about me going to BYU...I live in Texas. The thing is I can see my IP, you can see your IP, but we can't see each other's. Whoever sees the sign will see their own info only, not mine or yours or anyone else's, just their own. Did that make sense? Well, it did in my head anyway.

The symbols on daniel's t shirt look like the symbol that Gemma found on the suit, but the outline is square instead of round.
I don't think it has any meaning though. It's just a t shirt. |

Wow....I haven't felt this stupid in.....forever. Well, I wasn't following the thread that closely and this is what I first read. It sounded like it was YOUR ip address but I suppose I get confused easily or something because everyone else knew exactly what you meant......I'm wholeheartedly ashamed. I'm out for today. I agree that stood out to me....My husband is pretty anal about that kind of thing but if we are running for our lives, I doubt he'd do a full room-check before fleeing. What do they have with that much value? |
LOL I had to laugh when you said that, but knowing how insistent I am about "the final check around the room" it would happen even if they were beating the door down:) If I don't check, I'm sure I'll leave my money or something equally important and irreplaceable behind. |
