Cassieiswatching, Tachyon, LG15, DanielBeast, Opaphid, Gemmers, Egyptian, Thelema, Illuminati, Golden Dawn, Aleister Crowley, hidden messages, schizophrenia, imaginary friends, ceremony theories, plot theories......my head is going to explode.
I've not really posted here at all cause reading this stuff is terrible enough on the brain but i just wish that in order to enjoy a good storyline and at least understand it, i didn't thereafter have to sift through 1000000027621312313 lines worth of long winded and often verbose theories and facts surrounding the videos.
I'm not complaining for the sake of complaining, i think i've just reached that stage where, considering how stagnant the LG15 storyline is becoming (at least for me), the amount of bullsh*t i have to sift through is increasing.
Sorry to bitch but i gotta see if anyone else is feeling the same way, i want the hours of my life back that i spent researching dead-ends and stupid cult conspiracy BS that never actually makes it into the storyline and trying to make sense of such nonsense as i find in OpAphid's videos. YES IT'S AN ARG, I GET IT, NOW STOP OBFUSCATING AND RETURN TO COHERENCY
/endangryrant
Peace
P.S-It's late, i apologise for the anger but i think i've had it with this purely unfulfilling series, hours of my life wasted watching stuff that is largely becoming banal, with a few sparing references to the "big conspiracy" here and there, smattered with "clues" that we have to figure out ourselves, for god's sake, most of the major fanfics (cassieiswatching, OpAphid) are more relevant to the storyline and mythology than the original canonical material nowadays. |

LOL. I greatly agree with what you are saying.
But I find the researching of conspiracies and sharing them with the other nuts is more fun than the actual videos.
That's just how I roll.

LOL *Step away from the videos. I repeat. Step away from the videos.*
Leave the ARG alone and just watch the main storyline. |

I have to agree. If it weren't for the forums and all the great detective work everyone is doing, what would we have?
The interaction within our little community is what makes this so much fun. Some of us just aren't going to make video responses to every vid - This is our way of participating in the story.
I can't speak for anyone else, but for me, it's the forums that keep this going. _________________ It's STILL all connected... |

I love the forums! I love the research (in my spare time). That's what the forums were put up for. It's good to keep the brain juices running and give the good ol' brain wrinkles a workout! |

Sanjay, I totally agree with you. I'm a full time student and I have a job, so I don't have hours to spend every day sifting through CRAP on the forums just to find the one or two posts that actually mean anything. And with the whole OpAphid thing becoming canon, I'm even further behind.
And I am SICK of all of the horribly lame theories people are coming up with... I looked up "Jonas", and 262 years ago there was some guy whose middle name was Jonah (Jonah=Jonas!) and he worked at a harbor (sail boats?) in Australia (near New Zealand!?) and he had a daughter named Danielle (Daniel?) that got food poisoning and died. So I think Jonas is going to kill Daniel with food poisoning!
I'm sure the creators don't seriously look up the most random associations between names that relate to characters that they can possibly find, and then make the story line mirror in some remote way what happened to the people whose names they represent.
So PLEASE stop junking up the forums!
Edit: Typo. Grrr... |

I'm gonna have to disagree again. The forums are not 'required reading' and certainly not required in order to enjoy the LG experience.
The whole idea here is interaction - with the characters and with each other. There are many who only view the vids and go on with their respective lives. They never read the forums, they never interact with the characters, yet I'm sure they enjoy the series just as much as those of us who choose to interact. If you don't have the time or don't want to read - don't.
I happen to enjoy 99% of the posters - the wacky theories we all come up with, the long winded dissertations, the goofy jokes, sometimes even the bitchiness.
And yes, I'm strapped for time just like everyone else. I simply make time for one of lifes simple pleasures.
I cannot speak for anyone else but I'm afraid your statement does not speak for me. _________________ It's STILL all connected... |

But what if the creators do look up the most random associations they can possibly find and Jonas is going to get eaten by a whale......only we can't tell Bree to save him because nobody posted about it because we're all afraid of junking up the forums?? Then what?........
I'm just kidding.
Honestly I love to read peoples theories, its entertaining and informative. _________________ I discovered Jonas....LOL Well sort of... http://www.lonelygirl15.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3059 |

I apologize for (most of) my above post. Mostly I was just frustrated at myself more than at the forums, because I had been sitting around for hours... literally... reading posts and not really getting anywhere (and also putting off... yet again... writing up my chem lab). I'm still trying to get caught up on the whole OpAphid thing, but even with all the time I've spent, I still feel like I'm missing a lot of it. I guess I just need to get to know the forums better. (But don't take my lack of posts to mean that I don't spend a lot of time here. I'm just quiet.)
Really I do enjoy a lot of the posters, and you're one of them Trainer, so I hope I haven't offended you.
The one thing I'm still angry about, though, is that my avatar won't stay...

I absolutely LOVE reading people's theories on things, even when some are really absurd. _________________ -Kelly |

I wasn't offended at all. I was only trying to point out that if we eliminated everything that someone thought was worthless, we'd have nothing left. We are all here for different reasons and talk about different things. The one true commonality is we were all drawn together because of a fascination with the LG phenomenon. Heck, we are PART of the phenomenon.

I agree with Sanjay with all the additional videos, but like the theories.
I have truly enjoyed looking up cults, finding Thelemic rituals, researching the Illuminati and Enochian and Longitude and the like. I like the strange little side streets it takes me down, and hearing about the strange little side streets it takes all you down as well.
However, I don't overly love the OpAphid-Tachyon thing. Not that it isn't interesting, but I don't live in California, love to crack number codes or particularly love playing with video/audio equipment. Nor do have the time to devote to it. I know that I don't have to watch them to keep up, but I feel like they now affect the outcome, which is interesting, but is frustrating too.
I think that the Creators kind of copped out on the religion thing, and have gotten to a point where they are not following up on their own clues, which is robbing me of the AHA moments I would like to get for my time. I also feel like they have copped out on the intentional clues, and are instead relying on what other people find to develop the storyline. Good on them for allowing the reactivness I suppose, but it does make for a lot of loose ends, which takes away from the fun. At least for me it does. _________________ Everything in the World Began with a YES! |
