Tachyon's number 415-670-9198 has had several VM changes over the past hour.

The rundown so far:

1. The first message was one ring and then a bad audio clip of a song that lasted about 40 seconds.

2. The second message was 3 rings and another bad audio clip of a song that lasted exactly a minute.

3. The third message was no rings, a long, shrill beep tone that lasted 21 seconds and then the long message started, making the voicemail about a minute and 30 seconds long.

Currently, as of 2:56am the VM is playing the #2 message. Thanks to Acid Fingers, we now have the reversed recording of the longer message: http://www.acidfingers.com/music/11-28-backwards.mp3 This will be updated with audio links and VM changes as they happen.

EDIT @ 5:55am: SurrealisticPill solved the backward VM song, it was Juliana Hatfield "My Sister". Lyrics are on the thread "Name that Tune", please refer to that thread for any additional information or to analyize the meaning of the song and it's lyrics. /END EDIT

EDIT @ 7:09am: Tach's voicemail was edited to say, unreversed "I hate my sister, she's such a bitch"/END EDIT

Edit @ 7:19 am: Voicemaill now says "I hate my sister, why'd she go". Also, Tach and OP have both had logged in within the past 45 minutes. T's profile now says "What's with these shifty guys making up stories about me calling them? As if!" /END EDIT[url][img][/img][/url]

Edit @10:59 10/29: Thanks to Ascend, the VM message says "I MISS my sister, why'd she go?" not "HATE".

It's seems that between seconds 40-47 on the long recording that there is some kind of warbled man's voice but we haven't been able to get any clear enough tracks to hear.
