Hi there, I'm new, forgive me.
I posted about this in the character section, too, so I hope I'm not breaking forum rules by bringing it up here. But... okay.... I don't buy this new thing about her being followed. This is why: why hasn't she called her roommate to make sure she's safe? Or to tell her that she might be in danger by staying in the apartment?
Call me skeptical, but I'm worried that Gemma might work for The Order and the whole "I'm helping you" thing is just a front.
Anyone else? |

could be.
could also be that she's so sure that they care more about her than her roomate that it'd be okay to not check in with the roomie (or maybe even to protect her; the Watchers would know how to contact her... even though no one bothers to think about WATCHING EACHOTHER'S VLOGS! )
For instance, Daniel didn't check in with his PARENTS when he found those pics of him at the "ceremony" but we KNOW he's good.

True. But what about the episode where she tells Bree that she made the right decision by not going to the cops? Maybe she was just trying to steer her away.
But I'm probably just being overly suspicious. |

Bree said herself there were always 'very important' people, like doctors, police, etc...so that would be a reason not to call authorities. This organization seems to have people in all places and in important offices. Knowing that, I wouldn't call the cops, either.

In chat last night, Bree seemed to be of the opinion that Gemma couldn't possibly be being followed. By the end, Gemma seemed to feel silly for suggesting it and sounded like she intended to go home.
Is this Bree just overlooking the seriousness of the situation? Or maybe calling Gemma on her own overreaction?

Yeah, no one is going to forget about the insane chat event. @.@
But as for Gemma, maybe she was just being paranoid..or now, maybe she will disappear like Cassie did because she WAS being followed?
I wonder what the watchers are for. Why exactly are they watching? They don't seem to do much else.

its not good enuf ... wudnt u want to be able to have a rant when u stayed up till 2am, then only get 5 hours sleep before u have to to P.E?
+every1 was saying all day it was goin to be like that but did any1 listen?
i think my idea was best coz every1 will shut up when needed!

Your not talking about the 1000+ posts thing, are you? And also only allowing admins and mods? Now that wouldn't be fair. I don't have nearly 1000 posts and I'm a dedicated fan as well....as well as many many more. Just because someone has more posts than the other doesn't mean they shouldn't be privledged to certain parts of the game. There are many fans that don't even post. I could see if it was said from the beginning that only those with 1000+ posts would be able to take part in a special chat, but there are no such rules.

I dont think limiting anyone who didnt have enough posts is a good idea.
However having a chat of this magnitude unmoderated is just... what the hell were they thinking??
moderation of the chat would have:
1. cut down on the "who's jonas?" "gemma are you still there?!" "can I have your number?" etc etc
2. made things run smoother. you send a question/statement to the moderator, they post it.
3. moved the story/chat along better
4. well theres more but i havent had enough coffee
I absolutely blame everyone involved. THEY planned to have a chat. THEY waited till the last minute to even get a chat room set up properly. THEY didnt even make it obvious as to where the chat was.
And whats this full transcript in a day or two??? How hard is it to copy and paste a chat?
Sorry, forum/chat moderator who is absolutely surprised and disgusted at how poorly this was pulled off. |
