I think that Jonas is just Daniel's replacement..I mean wasn't there rumors a while ago that said Daniel was going to leave the show? So, The Creators bring in a replacement...Jonas. I think Jonas is good and Bree can trust him...but I do think that he maybe lying about a few things...maybe his parents were in the Order and they disappeared the same way Bree's parents have, and Jonas just made up the story of thier being lost at sea. I definitly think that Jonas will get further in the romance department with Bree than Daniel did but I think Daniel will come back and win her over.

Whether they originally brought in Jonas to replace Daniel or not (there's a lot of conflicting opinions about that), I think everyone realized that the fans want Daniel to stay.

On myspace, Yousef has stated that he's going to be away for the holidays. Maybe this is just their way of setting up a time when some of the characters will be away.

I think there is absolutely something fishy about Jonas.

I'd have a blast trying to find out what it was if I were Bree!

i agree, if you lose daniel now, you throw away a bunch of development that didn't lead anywhere. he started this thing as a kid and now the situation is calling for him to be a man. if he is to be the hero of this thing, he has to make some tough calls and step up to the plate. jonas is offering a place to stay. is there no other place that daniel can come up with to go to?
for that matter, why wait? eventually this long distance mexican standoff has to give. why not be proactive daniel? get bree to tell you what some of the details of lucyfer and the others that might help you figure something out. if they just wanted bree, why did they have pics of you on the puter? in for a penny, in for a pound, you agreed to have bree stay with you (her parents request). you have to see it out.

Daniel will separate from Bree and come to two realizations.

1. He is still being followed. Although they have not yet spoken, Gemma may see something in a Daniel vid and point it out to him. Perhaps they will end up collaborating as a way of releasing more clues to us.
2. Jonas is not the nice guy he portrays himself to be. There is a connection to the Order or some "dark" organization.

I think you might be right... to some extent. I actually don't understand why people like Daniel so much when he hasn't been very supportive or even kind to Bree lately. If a guy treated me like that he would be kicked to the curb rather quickly.

I do wonder if the actor actually just wants to leave. The creators said they weren't firing him but I don't think they said he wasn't leaving. If he just wants to leave then they have to write him out of the story and I think that's what is happening lately.

Somewhere in these forums someone did say that the creators said Daniel isn't Bree's intended love interest. Which would make sense since I haven't seen much chemistry between them in a long time.

Anyone else notice that Jonas is like... a hot version of Daniel? Dark curly hair, blue eyes, sort of gappy teeth, kinda geeky, seemingly typical teenager.
[But, Yousef, you are extremely attractive in your own right!]

Maybe Jonas has been in Daniel's position before? Maybe there's a "Bree" to go with Jonas.. or was a "Bree".

Having said that, I'd much prefer him to be evil. Like we get a video of him stalking around in jeans and a tight black t-shirt and and and sunglasses and a gun!! Or maybe he's in the shower and.......
