I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but um - I realize that Bree and Daniel are on the run, but couldn't Gemma send them any money through Western Union or something, where they could pick it up anywhere they wanted?

They could always say something like "we'll email you some info" or something...I mean, it's not that hard...Gemma could also e-mail them the confirmation number...I don't know...

Why is it that no one in fictional stories ever thinks of the logical things to do?

Maybe the security and fear of the Order is stronger than anything else, though.

Jonas also offered them money. Instead of staying with Jonas, why not just let him wire them some money?

But shoot, if they did what regular people did, they'd be doing all this on payphones so they couldn't be traced by the order, and we'd have not show, lol!

If there are that many motels in the area that there staying in, not to mention a big mall/movie theater, I'd say that there is probably a ton of Western Unioin pick up places. Just in my town alone (which is on the smaller side) I can think of about 5 right off the top of my head, as most grocery stores here have a western union pickup.

The only thing you have to do is go in, sign a paper and show ID. That's no more of a trail that going in and registering into a motel. There's no way that Jonas could cover all the pick up places around the clock for days trying to hit the exact time that Bree or Daniel rushed in to pick up the money.

But what is that going to tell him? That they picked the money up at the A&P in a certain area?

If he wants that badly to find them, he can just figure out where they had their Thanksgiving picnic, same as the viewers did. It isn't going to give him their direct location.

The money gram won't send him a reciept that says "Yes, Bree picked up the money at the 7-11 and now they are staying at Motel X on this street".

I'm just saying.
