I think it has been established elsewhere on the forums that Jackie (the actress who plays Gemma) IS British, and I am frankly getting tired of the Gemma bashing. I can understand forum members in the UK being irritated by incorrect stereotypes portrayed by her character, but that is scarcely the character's fault or the actress's fault. Complain about the creators and stop bashing the Gemma. It's gotten so I feel quite sorry for the actress who plays her role, as all she gets is flack.


Thats a really good point. Im from California and I could EASILY get upset at the stereotypes of rodeo drive, actresses, cell phones, sun, beach etc

i live way up in rural north and its nothing like hollywood.

lets cut gemma some slack, british or not.
