Very smart. |

But Gemma lives in a flat, right? Would a student loan pay for non-dormitory housing? (I know it wouldn't in the US) And what about food, clothing, etc.?
And a loan isn't going to be paying that air plane fare for her to come save the day, lol. |
I don't know about Britain, but Britain and Canada tend to have a lot of similiarities in general and in Canada you can use your student loan or grant for living expenses... Infact the majority of university students that I know LIVE entirely off of student loans. |

Well, my brother is currently studying engineering, and he's part of this program that (to quote my mum) "Pays for everything down to the caps on his shoelaces." It obviously doesn't pay for things for entertainment, but it pays for anything that he needs for his studies and just for anything that is needed to live comfortably. Gemma doesn't seem to have many extras in her bedroom, so maybe it's something like that.
Or maybe she's on some kind of welfare? Nah, just a guess.
Or, she may be mooching off a boyfriend. I dunno. _________________ This world will never be what I expected.
And if I don't belong, who would have guessed it? |

Obviously, is she is being watched, they know she's trying to help Bree. |
I'm only speculating and assuming for a moment that Gemma is sincere. It doesn't look like everyone in the Community or the Order is on the same page and/or agrees with all the practices. Gemma might fall on the side, which allows Bree to choose not to participate in the Ceremony without anyone exerting their will on her. Sure, Gemma might piss off the people that want to force Bree and those people might try to hinder or stop her interferance.. but you do what you feel is right. (shrugs)

My theory is that Gemma has been working Bree on her own, planning to sell Bree out to the Order (but the Order found out on their own). That's one way to earn the smack for your rent, uni, schoolbooks, pretty clothes, teeth whitening...
And what's that over on the right in her latest vid? Isn't that a man's hat? |
