Oh wow, I had something going with the O.T.O. theory there eh? Thanks gogo for connecting the two (Dendera and OTO), they actually do link together however, there's not a great deal on info on both in searching on the net. |

OOO this exciting and I agree with lipstick (i think it was you) that they should just kiss!!! They were so close too...I thought for sure he was just gonna kiss her.
I'm kinda sad though that I didn't hear a response from daniel about her video a couple days ago about the kissing thing.
Either way great video, creators!!!! _________________ "Bring me the head of Cassie!!!" |

WAIT!!!
i just found this startling photo of the egyptian god Jethro, closely associated with Hathor, the cow goddess. apparently he was a farmhand who milked the goddess!

This is my first time posting in a forum ever, so I hope this works. Thought I should chime in when I saw this link, which I don't think anyone's posted so far:
http://www.egnu.org/thelema/index.php/Hathor
"In Egyptian mythology, Hathor ("the house of Horus") was an extremely popular fertility goddess, associated with the cow. Her name refers to her position as the celestial cow which encircles the sky and hawk god, Horus. She was also a goddess of royalty. Her cult was centered in Dendera and was led by priests who were also dancers, singers or other artists, for she was a goddess of art as well.
"The goddess Hathor appears sporadically throughout the works of Crowley where she is usually seen as either a solar deity or as the Egyptian equivalent of Venus or Aphrodite."
There's more info on the site itself (Free Encyclopedia of Thelema), but I didn't want to make this post too long. |

Idunno,
I'm definitely hearing "Denderah" and the fact that she tagged it makes it that much more likely. But I'm not entirely getting the connection between Denderah and O.T.O. Or at least it all seems like a bit of a stretch to fit the two together.
I was searching through google and the only even remotely interesting piece of information linking the two was this:
"To properly exercise Shakti is to gradually burn away all impurities in the physical body, rejuvenating as well as purifying the body. Shakti is "psychic energy" capable of uniting with "cosmic energy" to fulfill the potential of a person and give those kinds of experiences typically associated with "Enlightenment." In the human organism, Kundalini is the "supreme force.’’"
Iron pills, anyone? This on its own does sway me a bit to be honest. But here's the main mention of Denderah:
"The occasion was afterwards celebrated among humans by a feast at which beautiful girls prepared a beverage containing the drugs which had been administered to the Goddess. These girls, serving as priestesses of Sekhmet, participated then with male celebrants in an orgiastic festival held in Sekhmet’s honor. One of the most famous of these was the festival held at Denderah in the Month of Thoth, and the most important aspect of this gathering was the experience made possible by the drinking of the substance thought to be identical, save for the human blood, with that prepared for Sekhmet by the Gods. Such orgiastic festivals were also held after battles with the hope of pacifying the Goddess’ more destructive nature. People danced, played, and shook the sistrum, celebrating Sekhmet as "Beautiful," "Brilliant," and "Adorable" to soothe Her wildness. Sekhmet came eventually to represent the ecstasies of love."
So, again, it seems all rather sketchy.
Sorry if people have mentioned this before, too. It's hard to keep up with you guys! |

But since when has she mentioned one of her "odd" tags in her videos? Her odd tags are usually seemingly unrelated. In fact, wouldn't it be more likely that she didn't say 'denderah' because she referenced it in tags? That seems... too easy. This is obviously a big clue from the creators, and to put it in a tag seems a little simple, and i'd be disappointed if it's true. |

Interesting! I wonder if Bree's cuteness (Aphrodite/Venus-like beauty) has made her eligible to participate in this secret ceremony. I wonder if her preparing is also like practicing for as play (for which she has experience).
Sorry if I'm way off base. |

I dont believe I understand the few last video's after her house arrest video...
after she says or something to the affect that "Daniel is banned from the house and I am not allowed out of the house...and video blogging is our own way of communication now"
I figured we would get videos back and fourth from both after hearing that.....

I definitely agreed with you at first, Brokey.
I think it was mentioned on this forum (I'm an ultra-lurker on all three of the main forums, I can't remember what info comes from where half of the time) but someone had mentioned that the tag was put in half an hour after video was uploaded. Which implies to me that the creators realised no one could understand what she was saying so they made it a bit more obvious.
I agree, though, it does seem disappointingly easy. |

I saw the video when it first appeared on youtube and there were still no comments.
at that point, denderah was NOT a tag. it was later added
(I'd speculate this was done because people were mishearing what Bree said)
also, this clue is not THAT easy at all.
even if we identify the word she said....we have no idea what it means or how it relates to the story |

But the hint doesn't have the creative tendencies that the others did, is more or less what I'm saying. They attempted to just implement it into the episode and then later decided to literally spell it out. |

Just seems that the only reason to push us in a relatively obvious direction (and it can be assumed it's obvious, since everyone checks those tags and looks them up) would be if we were far off the mark (about her religion, not just that word) or if there was something drasting going to happen very soon that we had to be up to speed before it happened. I don't think, before, they've pushed us so obviously in any particular direction. That's why I doubt it... Could be right, but again, I'd be kinda disappointed... |

her saying "denderah" is about on the same level as her having a picture of Crowley in her bedroom. It is an obvious push in a direction, but I feel like the clue is fairly open-ended. it leaves Thousands of avenues of speculation open.
edit: and I'm sure that as this series progresses they're going to have to START revealing things at some point. I mean, it can't go on forever. |
