The first pigeon message lead to the drop in Rue B Bar, New York. The drop was found on 15th April by Skunkwaffle.

Low E = 1 (a zero on the low E string). That is the lowest note you can play on a guitar without changing the tuning.
Counting up by half step, starting with the low E, each note ends up translating to a number between 1 and 24 (E=1, F=2, Gb=3, G=4, Ab=5, A=6, ...).
