Transcript
(Daniel is sitting at the kitchen table.)
Daniel: All right, after everything that went down yesterday or, really, didn't go down, Sonia is... kinda unhinged. I didn't think we'd really see her or Jonas's car ever again. But when we got home, there she was. We've all just been kinda keeping our distance from her to be honest. She bought this pre-paid phone and right now, she's talking to her old buddy Carl.
(Scene cuts to the camera spying on Sonia, who is outside the front door talking on the phone with Carl.)
Sonia: (on phone) No! Carl, come on! Look, I said I'm okay. No, Carl! Carl. Okay means okay. No, of course I'm upset! My life has been turned upside down and I don't know what I'm gonna do now. (pause) No, you don't have to. Ugh, I'm not telling you where they live. Where I am and what I'm doing is none of your business... not anymore. No. No. And - no! And I will tell you one more thing: I am not gonna let them take any more girls. (pause) Don't tell the Dea... Why would you do that? Don't tell the Deacon where I am. Don't even tell him you talked to me. (pause) What? Wait, what did you just say? Where - where is he taking them? Is he, is he moving them in 24 hours or is he moving them over the next 24 hours? Carl? Carl! Answer me. Carl - no, no! You listen. No! Look, Carl, I know you don't want to hear the truth right now, but I suggest you watch those videos. No! Get on the computer and watch those videos. We helped the Order, Carl. The Hymn of One doesn't exist. No! It's just a front. All - all the - all the principles are lies. Yes! And you know, we gave them Bree, and they killed her! Carl. Carl! Fuck!
(Sonia bends over her phone.)
Notes
- Sonia says Carl's name 10 times in this video, which as in the last video where Emma's "moose ears" are 10 fingers, some fans suggest that this means the ceremony will be in 10 days.
- The overheard phone conversation can be argued two ways: 1, it was scripted between Sonia and Carl in order for the TAAG to drop their guard; 2, it means that Sonia truly did join TAAG.
- Some fans have speculated that Sonia & Carl have known about The Order all along (rather than just recently discovering its existence). Sonia says to Carl, "We helped the Order". Sonia speaks to Carl about The Order as something he knows, something he is aware of. They speak of it as something that they know is involved in bad things. If this is true, it would confirm that this overhead conversation is merely a ploy to gain the confidence of the gang. However, The Order may be a concept that Sonia is trying to push on Carl.
