(Gavin is holding the camera, standing in front of a door. A female voice is faintly heard.)

Gavin: Tariq! (knocks on door) Come on, you can't stay in bed all day.

Tariq: (from behind the door; he makes a fake cough) Leave me alone, I'm ill!

Gavin: Ill? You haven't got time to be ill (opens door) We need to do something about... (sees Tariq and Julia in the bed together, each with hardly any clothes on) What the hell is she doing here??

Tariq: Keep your voice down!

Gavin: This isn't what we agreed.

Tariq: Yeah, well, give me a break then! All right? (climbs out of bed) She wanted to see me. I'm going mad down here.

Gavin: What are you thinking? You know this isn't safe.

Tariq: Maybe it was worth taking the risk. (walks down the hall)

Gavin: Yeah, but it's not just your risk, is it, Tariq? It's everybody--

Tariq: Piss off. (shuts bathroom door)

(Gavin walks back into the bedroom. Julia is putting on a long black jacket.)

Gavin: You shouldn't be here.

Julia: Do you mind?

Gavin: You shouldn't be here!

Julia: Why? So you can have him all to yourself?

Gavin: Haven't you got SIM cards to peddle?

Julia: Oh, very funny. Tariq asked me to take a few days off and chill with him.

Gavin: Chill? This isn't Butlins, you know, we're in a lot of trouble!

Julia: I know what you did to Lee.

Gavin: What? I didn't do anything...

Julia: It's in the videos.

Gavin: It's beside the point; you should not be here.

Julia: Why?!

Gavin: Because it's not safe. Anyone could've followed you.

Julia: Who's gonna follow me?

(A knocking is heard coming from the front door)

Gavin: Oh, shit. Take this. (hands the camera to Julia, and looks downstairs)

Aunt Joan: (off-screen) Can I help you?

Terrence: (off-screen) Hello there, madam. I was looking for...

(Gavin rushes downstairs)

Gavin: Hi there.

Terrence: Well, well, well! This is where you've been hiding.

Gavin: (laughs nervously) Yeah.

Aunt Joan: Would you like to come in?

Gavin: No, Auntie Joan, I think we're just going to talk outside for a minute.

Terrence: (to Aunt Joan) Terrence. Nice to meet you.

Aunt Joan: All right... all right, Terrence...

Gavin: Thanks, Auntie Joan.

(Gavin and Terrence leave, and Aunt Joan closes the door. Tariq comes out of the bathroom.)

Tariq: What are you doing out here with that?

Julia: Gav's just gone off with some guy.

Tariq: What guy? Where?

Julia: I don't know, some mealy-looking white guy, I think he's called Terrence?

Tariq: (suddenly wide-eyed) What? (rushes to the bedroom to put more clothes on) Here? Are you serious? (Julia follows him; he puts pants on) How long ago? How long ago?

Julia: Well, just a minute ago! Why, do you know him?

Tariq: (shushing her) Yeah, you could say that... we owe the man fifteen grand!

Julia: Wh-- what?

Tariq: (quickly going downstairs, putting his shirt back on) Fifteen flippin' grand...

Julia: Tariq... why didn't you tell me? (follows him to top of stairs) Hey!

(Tariq sneaks to bottom of stairs, and opens the door. Gavin is walking slowly back, with his arms crossed.)

Tariq: Gav? Julia said that, um, Terrence was here. (a car starts up outside; Gavin walks in and closes the door) What did he want?

Gavin: What do you think he wanted, Tariq? (pushes the curtains aside slightly to look at the car)

Tariq: What did you tell him?

Gavin: I told him that Lee'd bring the stuff back this afternoon and everything'd be all right.

Tariq: (makes a frustrated noise) You lied to him?!

Gavin: Yeah, I lied to him! If he had known the truth, he would have burned the house down!

Tariq: What are we gonna do now?

(The boys spend a tense few moments thinking.)

Gavin: Um... did Auntie Joan replenish the sherry? (shrugs) Let's get drunk. (walks to another room)

Tariq: Sherry... (starts to come back upstairs)

Aunt Joan: (coming back into the breezeway) Has he been at my sherry again?

(Tariq looks back at her, but doesn't respond. He walks back upstairs.)
