(Shot of Bree sitting on a couch talking into the camera.)
Bree: This just in: Jonas, not in the Order. Who knew, right? So anyway, Jonas pretty much hates me right now and he has every right to. I mean, it was my idea to tie him up and it was my idea to leave him in the cabin. I thought that he was a bad guy. After Jonas broke in....to his own cabin, he showed us a box of these files that were proof that not only was he not a member of the Order, his parents were actually in a movement against it. Kind of like the French resistance or something. Anyway, Jonas is not talking to me right now. Well, technically he is, he's just not saying anything very nice.
(Cut to a shot of Jonas talking in the car with Daniel in the passenger seat and Bree in the back)
Jonas: I swear, I swear, I just heard this like high pitched whiny...
Bree: Oh my God, I feel really carsick.
Jonas: Is there like a mosquito in here or something? I hear this buzzing. Bzzzz! You know, I think when we stopped, one of those small dogs got in the car. It's like yeppp, yeppp, yeppp, yeppp! They're the worst.
(Cut back to Bree sitting on the couch talking.)
Bree: One of the things he found was this, like, mission statement that his father wrote.
(Shot of Bree holding up mission statement.)
Bree: I really like it. It kind of reminds me of some things my dad said to me before he died. It's all about free will and the rights of the individual over the powers that be. I knew that the Order was far reaching, but Jonas's dad made some pretty broad accusations. Politicians, head of corporations. If even some of it is true, then, well it's bad! There's really not much that we can do but keep filming everything that happens to us because, at least, if we do get caught, there will be some kind of record of it. Anyway, I need to make things right between me and Jonas. So, I'm gonna go and try apologize again. Maybe this time he'll actually talk to me.
(Bree is holding camera, pointing it at Jonas. He appears to be fixing a doorknob.)
Jonas: I don't want to talk to you right now, Bree.
Bree: I know.
Jonas: So...why don't you go away?
Bree: Who me? I thought you weren't talking to me.
(Jonas holds head in frustration.)
Bree: What are you doing?
Jonas: (softly) Nothing.
Bree: It looks like you're trying to break into your aunt's office.
Jonas: Yeah, and its not working. (pause) Turn it off. I'm serious, turn it off.
Bree: Okay. I will. But, I just want to tell you I'm, I'm sorry, okay? I am! I just thought that, you know, you were one of them and I said I'm sorry. It's just, forgive me, okay?
(Short pause and Jonas walks into the other room. Bree talks to camera alone.)
Bree: You know what that was? Progress! He acknowledged I existed without even calling me a name. So, I'm getting somewhere. I hope that he can forgive me. Even though...what I did was pretty unforgivable.
