Ramesh Flinders is a 26-year-old screenwriter who, along with Miles Beckett, created the lonelygirl15 saga. Flinders was working as an assistant in the entertainment industry and maker of short films when he met Beckett at a karaoke bar birthday party.

Flinders screenwriting efforts had been focused on a recurring character, a shy but precocious teenage girl, who would become Bree.
