Assasins are members of the Hymn of One who seek ascension within the ranks of the Order. They may already be a Watcher or a Shadow, or simply someone intrigued with the power granted to Elders.
They have been called out by the Elder Michelle Clore to show their hand in killing either Jonas, Daniel, Sarah, Gina, or Jennie, and have been promised ascension within the Order, possibly to become a new Elder, following the death of William Porter.
