This article has been nominated for deletion
Reason: Is there any reason this exists? It's not canon....and it just appears to be someone posting in the comments. Why does it warrant a page?

Please discuss this proposal on this article's talk page

This page describes the fanfiction comments board user that posts under the name "The Deacons" and more recently, "Deacons". For information on The Deacons of the Order as portrayed in the series, see The Deacons. For the deacon character that was clearly seen in one video, see Deacon (individual).

Introduction

"The Deacons" began posting in the comments board on the Lonelygirl15 website after the video Life's Not Fair. Their messages mainly warn Bree of the consequences of her running away, and beseech her to return to them. They've replied to Daniel and Gemma videos as well. At times their posts have been on the mark, leading some users to believe that they might be canon. However, their often contradictory posts, as well as their unfulfilled offer of a video from her parents, have shown them to be fanfiction. Also notable is that when "The Deacons" began posting, usernames were not fixed, which led to several unrelated people posting under the same name. When the member directory was created, "The Deacons" began posting as "Deacons", even though the usernames "The Deacons" and "TheDeacons" were listed. This ocurrence also pointed to fanfiction, as the Creators would surely have taken steps to protect "The Deacons" username if they indeed were using it.

The posts

This article includes images of The Deacons' posts when possible. Since they have been prolific in their commentary, sometimes there are too many posts after a certain video, or they may be too long for complete inclusion. Links to the entire post are provided when available. Not all posts by users claiming to be "The Deacons" are discussed. Before the member directory, anybody who wished to post as "The Deacons" were able to, so judgment calls will be made as to what does and does not constitute a legitimate "The Deacons" fanfic comment.

Life's Not Fair

After the video Life's Not Fair a Lonelygirl15 comments board user by the name of "The Deacons" began the first of a series of comments. The content of the post will be featured below.

  • Nechemya - Nehemiah was a person in the Bible, believed to be the primary author of the Book of Nehemiah. He was the son of Hachaliah (Neh. 1:1), and probably of the Tribe of Judah. His family must have lived in Jerusalem (Neh. 2:3).<ref>Wikipedia article on Nechemya</ref>

Fleeing The Watcher

Following Fleeing The Watcher, The Deacons posted another message: Ftw deacons.jpg

  • Urim and Thummim - a divination medium or process used by ancient Hebrews (usually Israelites) in revealing the will of God on a contested point of view or other problem.
  • Grigori - Watcher - a group of fallen angels told of in Biblical apocrypha who mated with mortal women

According to Wikipedia, Grigori "are a group of fallen angels told of in Biblical apocrypha who mated with mortal women, giving rise to a race of giants known as the Nephilim. Also known as "Watchers" (from Greek egrḗgoroi), the Grigori appear in the booksEnoch and Jubilees". Book of Enoch is an Angelic teaching which also equals the storyline.

The Deacons (commenter) have now made several references to Grigori. This seem to tied in with what Gemma described as a Watcher.

  • Samyaza - שמיחזה - fallen angel of Christian tradition

According to Wikipedia, "Samyaza (Aramaic: שמיחזה, Greek: Σεμιαζά) also Shemyazaz, Sêmîazâz, Semjâzâ, Shemyaza, Samyaza, Shemhazai, and Amezarak (Ethiopic corruption)) is a fallen angel of Christian tradition that ranked in the heavenly hierarchy as one of the Grigori (meaning "Watchers" in Greek"). The term was used by The Deacons (commenter) after Fleeing The Watcher.

  • Paimon - one of the Kings of Hell
  • Asmodai - is a semi-Biblical demon mostly known thanks to the deuterocanonical Book of Tobit
  • Amon-Ra - the name of a deity, in Egyptian mythology
  • 33n57, 117w24 - Riverside, California

Jonas?

Following Daniel's Jonas? videos The Deacons appear to have returned now posting under the member name Deacons (using the new Member Directory. Some will argue that since they registered as #198 they cannot possible be Canon, however it is quite possible and even probably that the Creators would try to camouflage their authenticity. However some users noted that spelling errors are harder to explain from people one would expect to be highly educated. File:Deacons new.jpg

The only link we have to prove at least some of what the Deacons have posted that have come to fruition would be the famous Grigori references as everyone knows by now the Grigori are know as the Watchers and that was incorporated after the reference by Gemma. Still know one knows is this someone with an imagination or someone with a creator background.

Homeless

After Homeless the [Deacons posted]:

Topics for research:

  • اوريم وتميم - Urim and Thummim
  • Pinpoint micro asset tracker [1]
  • location 34° 1′3.35″N 118°28′34.68″W -The coordinates are for Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery in Santa Monica. Address: 1847 14th Street, Santa Monica, CA.

It’s a old fashioned cemetery which is out of the ordinary for that area. It says that it has a lot of “lawn parks.” And it’s right next to the Santa Monica freeway.

The Deacons' mention of Jonas as Samyaza created some confusion because previously they said the Watcher's name was Samyaza (see the [Fleeing The Watcher section] of this article. "We know that the watcher's name is שמיחזה."

A user then commented:

"The deacons comment had both arabic and hebrew. The first language is holy in islam (and possibly others) and the second is holy in Judaism.
