Ricky Martin is an animator in the webseries KateModern. He is responsible for animations done by Charlie.
Ricky was born in Harlow, England. He studied art at Hartford Regional College, and went on to study media at the University of the West of England. While at college, he made some films for festivals, and had his first individual production, "Post It Prison" scouted by the British Counsil
His animations are always hand-made. He believes they have a more organic feel to them that way. He also prefers that content not be "prettyfied" if it portrays an organic idea.
Currently, he writes for a short film, and is hoping to shoot it in the coming months. He is also part of an acoustic double act called "Ricky Martin and Neil Young."
