Transcript
(Steve is wandering around a library, filming the shelves of books. Cut to a drawing in a book depicting the Crusades. Steve turns the page to a section called "Persecution of Chrisitan Martyrs". Cut to Steve looking along a shelf of books, presumably in the Religion section. He pulls out "The Pagan Religions of the Ancient British Isles" slightly and puts it back.)
Steve: The journey of a thousand books starts with the first page.
(Steve pans down the aisle to show someone covered to a ridiculous degree, wearing a large winter coat and sunglasses.)
The web. It's overrated. It's like an all-you-can-eat buffet. (Cut to a shot of the books in the aisle.) This is where I feed my mind.
(Cut to Steve on camera.)
I know, I look and smell like a tramp. But I am on to something. If that means working through tonight as well, then so be it. (Looks nervously over his shoulder.) Kate's murder was definitely part of the conspiracy to smear the Hymn of One.
(Cut to a shot of books presumably in the Self-Help section.)
And it's fiction. Worse than anything in here.
(Cut to a shot of books in the biographical section.)
It seems I am not a big enough profile target for this "FTO". (Cut to a shot of Steve.) So they got themselves a new target. (Pulls "Finding the One" from the shelf nearby and shows it to the camera.)
(Cut to Steve putting the camera on a nearby surface.)
They haven't heard my song yet. (Holds up the book.) These are my lyrics. (Opens the book and begins to skim through the pages.) The words of Van Helden. There is no way that these are the words of a savage killer. There are things in life - it's so easy; they're either nourishing or toxic. Van Helden's helped me. He's helped so many others find their way.
(Looks nervously down the aisle and leans closer to the camera.)
"This is my testament. I will do whatever I can to make sure than no one defiles this. And I will fight to the last chapter those who seek to vilify and besmirch us." (Closes the book.)
Those who use and hide behind the letters "FTO" should beware those who use words. 'Cause I won't stop. Not 'till I can prove that Patricia and the FTO have more to do with Kate's death than they want us to know.
Notes
- The heavily hidden individual Steve sees in the library may be a member of the FTO.
