Sophie: You will not believe the day I've just had. Lee called me this morning and asked me if I wanted to go for a day out with him, Charlie, Steve, and Lauren. I know! (laughs)

(Cut to Sophie at her vanity.)

Sophie: Um... (sets camera down and proceeds to apply lip gloss. Once she's done, she picks the camera up once more.) 'Kay, jacket, jacket...

(Camera turns to show Sophie's jacket, draped across a chair. A knock is heard at the door; Lee can be heard, muffled, on the other side.Sophie gasps.)

Sophie: Oh, gods! (to the camera) Alice must've let him in! (louder) Yep, coming! (laughs, and opens the door for Lee, who is dressed in golf clothes.)

Lee: Hiya!

Sophie: Hiya!

Lee: You all right?

(Lee gives Sophie a kiss on the cheek, and both laugh.)

Sophie: Hi.

Lee: Oh, well this is really nice, isn't it?

Sophie: This is my room! (laughs)

Lee: Yeah! You ready?

Sophie: Yes! Oh, um-- where're we going?

(Lee makes an incredulous face and gestures to his outfit. The camera pans over his golf clothes.)

Sophie: Wha--

Lee: Thought I was meant to be the stupid one?

Sophie: Golf?

Lee: Yeah, golf! It's dead good! It's going to be boss! ...And also, Steve knows the guy, so we get in for free.

Sophie: Okay! (laughs)

Lee: Okay? Ready?

Sophie: Yeah.

Lee: Let's go! (Opens the door for Sophie on the way out.) Ladies first.

(Cut to outside. Lee and Sophie are walking from the apartment building.)

Lee: Come on, Soph!

Sophie: (groaning) I'm nervous about playing golf in front of people!

Lee: Golf's absolutely brilliant, don't be nervous!

Sophie: Yeah, but I've never done it before, ever!

Lee: It's my second favorite game, after Connect Four!

Sophie: Mm...

Lee: Come on, safely across the road. Come on, one of you go.

(Lee and Sophie approach the car, which is parked across the street. Lauren and Charlie are leaning against the hood, and Steve is standing nearby as well. He begins to greet Sophie, even before she crosses the street.)

Steve: Hey, how're you doing?

(Charlie waves and briefly says 'hi' as she's talking on the phone. Lauren smiles.)

Sophie: Hi!

Steve: Nice to see ya. (Camera is lowered briefly as Steve greets Sophie with a kiss on the cheek.) You all right?

Sophie: Yeah, I'm all right.

Steve: You look lovely.

Sophie: Hi, Laur! (Lauren smiles, and greets Sophie with a quiet "hey" and a wave.)

Charlie: (talking on the phone) ---so have a good time. Yep, I'll speak to you when I call you back. See ya, babe. Yep, bye. (hangs up) Jules is still away. She can't come. (Lee groans. Charlie gives Sophie a friendly wave.)

Steve: Oh well. Should we get going?

Charlie: Let's do it.

Lee: (cheers) Ahh!

Steve: (cheers) Ahh!

Charlie: (laughing) Quietly.

Lee: Sorry.

Steve: Shh.

(Cut to the group, getting in the car.)

Lauren: (off-camera) I wanma get in front.

Lee: (opens a car door to the backseat) Get in.

Steve: (inaudible, as he gets in front with Charlie)

Lauren: Whatever.

(Cut to Lee, now inside the backseat.)

Lee: Yeah, here we go, a day of gol! Golf day!

Steve: Yeah!

Sophie: Yeah, well thank you guys for inviting me!

Lee: I'll invite you anywhere. (Sophie giggles and Lee smiles as Steve and Charlie "Ooooh!" teasingly.)

Lee: Should we sing a song, everyone?

Lauren: (groaning) Oh, Lee, please, can we just have a bit of qui---

Lee: Eh, why have quiet when you can have (singing) the wheels on the bus go 'round and 'round, 'round and (inaudible)

Steve: Are you ser--

(Cut to Lee in the car. This time everyone but Lauren is singing.)

Everyone: (singing) The Lauren in the bus goes moody, moody, moody, all day long!

Lauren: Okay, all right, I'm not moody just shut up.

(Everyone makes teasing "ooh-ing" noises again. The camera turns to Lauren, looking out the window.)

Lauren: Please. Please.

(Steve pokes his finger near Lauren's nose, which she swats away, annoyed.)

Lauren: Steve get off me, I'm not a baby!

(Cut to the group, still in the car. They have now parked. Steve begins opening the door.)

Steve: Oh, it's a lovely day as well in London.

Sophie: Yes.

Lee: (getting out of the car) Very beautiful!

Sophie: Oh... nice!

Cut to Lee and Steve, who are leading the group in an open area.)

Steve: Okay, well I'll uh-- I'll go speak to (inaudible, the name of Steve's friend who works at the golf course). You guys wait here for a sec, just---

Lee: Yeah, I'll come too! All the boys, we'll sort it out.

Sophie: Okay.

Lee: (patting Steve, who looks back repeatedly, on the shoulder.) Hey Steve, mate.

Steve: All right---

Sophie: All right. We'll wait here.

(Lee and Steve walk ahead, towards the entrance.)

(Cut to Lauren, sitting on the grass with her sunglasses on.)

Lauren: They're coming back. (turns)

(The camera turns in the direction Lauren looks. Lee and Steve are returning through the same entrance they had previously gone through. Steve is taking off his jacket.)

Charlie: What happened, it doesn't look good. At all.

(Cut to Lee and Steve, coming closer. Lee walks behind Steve, who begins to talk. As he's doing so, Lee points at Steve and makes an 'L' sign on his forehead.)

Steve: Um. We can't get in 'cos we're not dressed right.

Lee: Eh, no, no. Not we, he can't get in 'cos he's not dressed right. (inaudible) said I can go straight in because I am wearing the right attire.

(Sophie laughs. The camera pans over Lee's outfit, once more.)

Steve: Sorry guys.

Lauren: Well this was a waste of time, wunnit?

Steve: Well, how 'bout ice creams and we could maybe do some fun games, something like that?

Lee: Oh, yeah!

Sophie: Yeah!

(Cut to an ice cream truck and the man working behind the counter.)
