Chapter 11: We All Fall Down is the sixty-second blog in the LG15: The Resistance blog series. It is also the video for the eleventh chapter in the series.

Transcript

Voice: The fountain of youth is real, and it's in the blood of dozens of girls across the world. Their secret is known by few, yet desired by all. They are pawns in the most dangerous of games. We are the Resistance. Our mission is to find these girls, and protect them from those who want to use them, and destroy them. And we document what happens to them, so that their stories live on. This is the story of one of those girls. We are the Resistance. We will not be stopped.

(Static effect to a picture of the LG15: The Resistance logo. Static effect to Beaumont hurrying Maggie in a wheelchair down a hallway.)

Maggie: The princess could not escape the dungeon on her own. She feared she would remain in this kingdom for eternity.

(Beaumont and Maggie run into a dead LBL gunman, bloody on the ground, shot by an Order member. Beaumont tries to comfort Maggie.)

Maggie: Despite the efforts of knights who so desperately wanted to save her. Little did they know, she did not want to be saved. She wanted to be free.

(Maggie gets up out of her chair and runs away from Beaumont. Static effect to Checking Out. In the bottom right hand corner, text says "Monday November 24, 2008 ReedABook". Static effect to Maggie running into a testing room. Beaumont soon follows.)

Maggie: The princess was determined to succeed in this final attempt. There were greater obstacles ahead.

(Maggie picks up a needle full of lydocaine and is about to inject herself with it. Beaumont holds her arm and wrestles her for the needle. Maggie screams. Static effect to Taken. In the bottom right hand corner, text says "Tuesday November 25, 2008 Hymn of None". Static effect to Maggie and Beaumont fighting.)

Beaumont: It's okay, look at me. It's okay.

Maggie: (shaking her head) You can't help me.

Beaumont: That's not true!

Maggie: This is never gonna stop. I just want to die.

Beaumont: Maggie. If you do this to yourself, then they've already won. You're stronger than this. They may not know that, but I do. The only way to beat them is to get out of here; to survive.

(Gunshots are heard. Beaumont and Maggie look up, surprised. Static effect to Leave Me Alone. In the bottom right hand corner, text says "Wednesday November 26, 2008 ReedABook". Static effect to Maggie and Beaumont, startled. The gunshots continue. The two stand up, and Beaumont goes offscreen. Maggie stays where she is. Beaumont comes back.)

Beaumont: Maggie. We have to go now.

(Maggie begins to shake her head.)

Beaumont: If you can't go, then I can't go. Do you understand what I'm saying? Just tell me, Maggie. Tell me what you want.

(Static effect to Lost and Found. In the bottom right hand corner, text says "Friday November 28, 2008 Sarah". Static effect back to Maggie and Beaumont.)

Maggie: I don't want this to happen again.

Beaumont: Then come with us.

Maggie: (looking up at Beaumont) Us?

Beaumont: I'm with people; an organization. They're out there right now fighting, fighting for girls like you.

Maggie: Who are you?

Beaumont: It doesn't matter who we are; we just want to help. Maggie, you can trust me.

(More gunshots are heard.)

Maggie: Okay.

(Maggie rests her head on Beaumont's chest and the two walk out of the building. Static effect to the LG15: The Resistance logo.)
