Hi Malan89,
I'm sorry if I irked you by removing your changes to the Main Page. The edit summaries don't provide a lot of room to elaborate on my reasoning. In this situation, it's similar to the reasons I gave you when you tried to update the AphidPedia main page. I see you've removed that from your talk page now, but I think you might remember that I said that such changes to Main Pages should be brought up on the Talk page first. I don't just mean that people agree that it should be done, I mean that the proposed new table should be put there for others to tinker and polish up, or provide alternatives. If you'd looked at Talk:Main Page you would have seen that JayHenry has already provided some suggestions at Main Page/redesign. There was no need to make your own table and post it without checking with anybody. The reason I stress taking your time with edits to the Main Page is because it's the page that everybody sees, and we try to hold it to our highest standards.
Another thing, please try to be nicer. I took a lot of time to explain things to you when you were trying to make the table for the AphidPedia, and I tried to be as informative as possible to help you contribute better to LGPedia. I assure you I do know what's on Talk:Main Page and I even pointed out something I thought you might have missed (the already proposed table). I'm not for or against Gemma right now (which is why I wasn't giving my opinion there), but I am against haphazardly making edits to the Main Page.
