Transcript

Anne: Hi guys. I know I've been kind of gone for a few weeks. I'm really sorry about that. I'm hiding in the bathroom right now. It's where I come late at night when I want to be alone. Before Miep left, she left me this device that can fit on my lap, that I can look at my internet with. So it's been really helpful. Peter, I've been watching your videos. I really do appreciate it. You know, I remember the first time that you came to the attic, and you brought your cat, and I was so mad because I had to leave my cat behind. And I thought: "There's no way I'm ever, ever going to be friends with that horrible, horrible boy." But I was wrong. You're actually really sweet, and it really means a lot to me that you're trying so hard to cheer me up. But you have to understand, I had a chance to end it, and I screwed it up. That's not something you just get over right away. So, it's just going to take a little time. (Cut to Black, cut back to Anne crying) I had a gun and I couldn't shoot Hitler in the face. It's awful. (Jump cut to close up of Anne on camera) And I'm a ghost!
