Talk:I Probably Shouldn't Post This...
I wanted to note that while I didn't see too many mentions of the editing in the existing transcripts, when I watched this video the choppy editing seemed a bit more significant. Yes, most of the videos have choppy editing, but the way sentences were often cut off in the middle haphazardly seems to hint that there were parts of the argument that Bree wanted to leave out despite her overall candor in sharing this episode with her viewers. --Brucker 13:50, 6 October 2006 (PDT)
- Good job on the transcript; you've communicated the choppiness of this well. I'd love to see more notation of the video's editing in all the transcripts, personally. - Dharmabum420 15:07, 6 October 2006 (PDT)
- Yeah, I'd thought about that myself, but I'm not sure there's so much a call for it as there is in a few key videos, and it can be distracting. I put up a few transcripts, and in many of the videos I transcripted, the edits are almost not even noticeable.
- One thing that might be worth considering, though is adopting some sort of shorthand symbol such as a slash(\) to indicate a cut in the transcript that would make it easier to incorporate in all of the transcripts without breaking the flow of the reading.--Brucker 08:14, 9 October 2006 (PDT)
- hey, that's a really good idea!--Skeeta 00:44, 1 December 2006 (CST)
