Iris, the notes section of a video is for significant facts. Yes, Daniel has posted 19 videos -- but that's not interesting information and it's not something that we've noted anywhere else. For example, we didn't make a note about Daniel's 18th blog, or 17th blog, etc.--JayHenry 14:10, 11 December 2006 (CST)

Putting the cart before the horse

I suggest you focus on making a couple videos before bothering to set up pages about your series. It'll all get sorted out eventually. Like I think I said elsewhere, there's a good chance someone else will simply make the pages for you. --Brucker 20:49, 29 November 2006 (CST)

About the Jsmith page

Hi TJ,
Thanks for the heads-up. Unfortunately, I can't delete the page myself. It looks like you've nominated it for deletion, so eventually one of the admins should take care of it.
Best,

I think Jsmith was the username of a former admin. I don't know anything else about him. OwenIsCool 21:09, 11 December 2006 (CST)

About vandalism

I think it's good that you're watching out for the LGpedia. Sometimes people make destructive edits. However, in this last case, although I might not necessarily agree with the edit, I don't think it was so bad that the user needed to be labeled as a vandal. I usually do that only if the intent was clearly malicious (eg, using foul language, making things up, or blanking pages for no reason).
So I guess keep in mind for the future that although some edits should be reversed, you don't always need to label the user a vandal.

Gemma

Good idea, I'll add some information to the Gemma page right now. By the way, when you leave messages on someone's talk page, please sign your comments by typing ~~~~ because this will automatically format your signature and include the date!--JayHenry 13:32, 12 December 2006 (CST)

Iris, I like that you're inviting new users to register at the LGPedia. But be sure to check their contributions first. We recently invited an anonymous user who had been vandalizing pages with links to porn sites to register! No worries, just a friendly reminder to check.--JayHenry 15:00, 13 December 2006 (CST)

No worries, Iris. I really appreciate your help, just wanted to point it out. And no need to call me "sir"!--JayHenry 15:13, 13 December 2006 (CST)

Vandalism

Iris,
You put the vandal template on both my Userpage and Talkpage. If you look Help:Editing you'll see that all I did was revert someone else's vandalism on that page. If you had looked more carefully at that page's history you would have seen that. I am taking the templates down because I know it must be a mistake. Please be more careful. Wrongfully marking others as vandals can be considered vandalism itself.
