About Daniel

Iris, the notes section of a video is for significant facts. Yes, Daniel has posted 19 videos -- but that's not interesting information and it's not something that we've noted anywhere else. For example, we didn't make a note about Daniel's 18th blog, or 17th blog, etc.--JayHenry 14:10, 11 December 2006 (CST)

About the Jsmith page

Hi TJ,
Thanks for the heads-up. Unfortunately, I can't delete the page myself. It looks like you've nominated it for deletion, so eventually one of the admins should take care of it.
Best,
OwenIsCool 20:54, 11 December 2006 (CST)

I think Jsmith was the username of a former admin. I don't know anything else about him. OwenIsCool 21:09, 11 December 2006 (CST)

About vandalism

I think it's good that you're watching out for the LGpedia. Sometimes people make destructive edits. However, in this last case, although I might not necessarily agree with the edit, I don't think it was so bad that the user needed to be labeled as a vandal. I usually do that only if the intent was clearly malicious (eg, using foul language, making things up, or blanking pages for no reason).
So I guess keep in mind for the future that although some edits should be reversed, you don't always need to label the user a vandal.

Gemma

Good idea, I'll add some information to the Gemma page right now. By the way, when you leave messages on someone's talk page, please sign your comments by typing ~~~~ because this will automatically format your signature and include the date!--JayHenry 13:32, 12 December 2006 (CST)

Iris, I like that you're inviting new users to register at the LGPedia. But be sure to check their contributions first. We recently invited an anonymous user who had been vandalizing pages with links to porn sites to register! No worries, just a friendly reminder to check.--JayHenry 15:00, 13 December 2006 (CST)

No worries, Iris. I really appreciate your help, just wanted to point it out. And no need to call me "sir"!--JayHenry 15:13, 13 December 2006 (CST)

Fan pages

It seems that we need a policy on fan pages. Probably at LGPedia: Fan pages. There have been issues with this before, and if we just develop a policy, it gives us something to turn to. I notice their appears to be a small revert war around the Unofficial Spin-Offs section of the main page as well. Our new policy should address that.--JayHenry 14:35, 2 January 2007 (CST)

Improper use of template

The description at the top of the template page says, and I quote: "This template should be included at the top of every official LG15 video, and no other place." --Brucker 19:16, 9 January 2007 (CST)

need help?

What's the change you're trying to make on your Userpage? Maybe I can help?--JayHenry 17:34, 17 January 2007 (CST)

I got it fixed, i kept adding the catagorie part to my user page from the Templetes. i noticed what i was doing. i think i got it now. Thanks Though :) --Iris2009 17:36, 17 January 2007 (CST)

Speaking of the userpage... Iris, would you mind using the "Show Preview" button to see if you like how the page looks before you actually save it? When you go to recent changes all those minor little edits really clog up the list. Then I have to load like the last 500 edits in order to fulfilly my duty as member of the Policy Patrol. And well, loading lots of edits slows down my computer so much it's embarrasing. OwenIsCool 17:37, 17 January 2007 (CST)

sorry about that. ill watch what im doing. i use my PSP to do everything.lol--Iris2009 17:38, 17 January 2007 (CST)

Probably the best way to deal with userboxes is to format them the way I've done on my page. The slight variations in size of those boxes makes for an ugly jumble sometimes, I know. --Brucker 17:16, 25 January 2007 (CST)

Thanks Brucker :)--TJ Marsh 16:58, 14 February 2007 (CST)

About the cove

thanks iris. i guess BK is #5, but who knows who #6 will be? --Milowent 20:31, 30 January 2007 (CST)

I Agree. :) --TJ Marsh 16:58, 14 February 2007 (CST)

Max Categorize

Hi Iris,
Thanks for coming forth about that. I was pretty worried when LGpedia crashed and I had no idea how it could have happened. Tell me more about this Max Categorization thing. What is it? I don't know anything about it.
OwenIsCool 16:42, 14 February 2007 (CST)

Its baically a program im trying to play around with that i am making for LGpedia, its still under Beta as you would put it, as i found out it didnt work..I informed The Staff of Lonelygirl15 and told them i wanted to see if it would work, it didnt.

It bassically a Program to Max Move certain Articales into one Articale as if it was to be merged, but you get a list and you can check what to merge into where, pretty simple, it just dont work right yet...GRR. i plan on adding more Javascript into it, i just dont know yet.. Let me know if you wanna know more, :) --TJ Marsh 16:48, 14 February 2007 (CST)

Which staff member did you inform, and who granted you permission to run an untested program on our wiki? I was certainly not informed, and from the looks of this forum thread it doesn't seem anyone else was. What's going on here?
OwenIsCool 17:00, 14 February 2007 (CST)

The Creators i informed. it worked on the False Wiki i made from a diffrent site. i just dont know. But i dont think it will work so i might not even try agian, for the fact that it made the LGpedia crash.sorry i didnt inform anyone on the admin side, i was excited to see if it worked, once agian, sorry. --TJ Marsh 17:06, 14 February 2007 (CST)

RE: Role of Brother

Yes, Glenn does play this role. But, aside from a brief glimpse at a drop, Brother is mainly a vocal role. IDX84 19:09, 16 February 2007 (CST)

Thank you for clarifying --TJ Marsh 19:23, 16 February 2007 (CST)

CassieIsSilent

Hey Iris, thanks for the heads up. The other day CassieIsSilent made some inappropriate edits to Cassieiswatching. Basically, CassieIsSilent tried to use the CIW article to advertise her videos. I reverted the changes. I don't think it will happen again, but definitely keep an eye open on edits to Cassieiswatching. --JayHenry 16:10, 5 March 2007 (CST)

policy patrol

hi iris, sorry i took so long to get back to you, i'm terrible that way. so...what would that entail exactly?--Skeeta 02:58, 12 March 2007 (CDT)

sure then.--24.19.3.231 19:03, 12 March 2007 (CDT)

Vandalism of Iris2009

Be informed that you are not an LGPedia administrator. Should you wish to nominate a page for deletion, please flag it for deletion using Template:Delete. Should you continue your actions, we'll be forced to issue a temporary ban.

In addition, I don't think you seem to understand that this is in no way a personal attack against you. We're willing to discuss this like adults; you can't just randomly go blanking pages. - Shiori 18:48, 28 February 2008 (CST)

Apart from your user page, there is no "your" page. All content pages belong to all users. Hands off the page, or be banned.

Keep this in mind: Requesting that a page be deleted is perfectly reasonable. Blanking the entire page, devoid of the {{delete}} template or a reasoning for your actions, and posting political positioning can be a strike against you, eventually leading to banishment. - Shiori 18:54, 28 February 2008 (CST)
