Transcript
(Gina is drawing in her sketchpad.)
Gina: I know you guys want me to say something, so... I'm gonna try. (Draws a landscape as seen through a window.) I'll start with my past. There's a lake out there... trees... dappled lights... and a low rising sun. I see it like some long forgotten dream. My memories dart away from me, like fish in a pond.
(Gina begins to draw three people arm in arm.)
I didn't know anybody when I was a kid. Not other kids, I mean. What did I take solace in? Were there nights by the piano? Bedtime stories and pink dollhouse? (Smiles to herself, and laughs.) I think I must have read a lot.
And what I have now, is a family that... well, probably doesn't understand me very much. "Oh, poor misunderstood me."
(Gina draws path that goes into a dark forest.)
Searching for Bree's mom is like taking a nice walk. "Seek and you shall find." But what if what you find is a little girl... soaking wet in the rain, all alone... crying for her mother? What then, Doctor? (Cut to Gina's drawing.)
Notes
- Gina's question, "What then, Doctor?" suggests she is trying to communicate with Dr. Hart
