::How about this? We'll leave it for, say four or five weeks? If there's no new video in that time frame, the stuff I added in the deletion suggestion will apply. If there ''is'' a new video, we'll pump the page up a bit and put it into circulation.

::It is simply premature to place a large deletion notice at the top of a page for a new series in my opinion.  Can we please remove that?  These notices have a real dampening effect on the spirit of community video contributers and I would suggest that they should only be used when there is clear evidence that a series has been abandoned.--[[User:Modelmotion|modelmotion]] 19:00, 5 August 2008 (CDT)

I would say it is way to early to make that kind of decision. We need to give community videos time to develop. I dont know where this one is going but all the signs point to it being an ongoing series. Further I would suggest that we refrain from such deletion notices because they detract from the appearance of a page and discourage contributers.--modelmotion 09:20, 5 August 2008 (CDT)

I'd also like to point out that Amanda typically encourages contest winners and the like to post videos of them receiving prizes. While the garden gnome was auctioned off for charity and not a contest prize, I'd humbly suggest that the same encouragement seems to apply. Apo 16:24, 5 August 2008 (CDT)
