Nikki: Every rose has its thorn. You with the sad eyes, I think we're alone now. The sound of silence. She's like the wind.
(Cuts to Nikki playing a recorder poorly.)
Nikki: Music can be such a revelation.
(Cuts to Nikki dancing down a set of brick stairs.)
Nikki: Everybody knows a place like Kokomo. Nobody on the road. It's just another day in paradise.
(Nikki spins in circles.)
Nikki: Keepin' the faith. Knock me down, it's all in vain. I wanna be the one to walk in the sun. Blame it on the stars that did shine at night. I'd like to freefall into nothing.
