After Rachel flaked out on her job when she became sick, she figured that her boss would no longer be interested in having her continue with her internship, in which she worked as a PA. However, Rachel followed the advice of her grandfather and sent him a letter of apology. Apparantly he was impressed by her manners, as he offered her a full time job as a production assistant. Soon after Rachel got back into the swing of her job, her boss and his wife decided to hold a dinner party, to which Rachel had nothing to wear.
