Transcript
(Pan right as Jonas follows Emma downhill in a completely burned landscape. Jonas has a gun tucked in the back of his pants.)
Jonas: (turns back toward camera) Watch out... you okay?
Jonas: Emma, I'm only going to say this one more time. This is stupid.
(They continue to follow a small stream bed between two burnt hills.)
Emma: I know it was in his handwriting. Jonas, if Dr. Hart wants to meet us at the village, then I'm going to go.
Jonas: Yeah, but the ... Emma, the note was hand delivered by Carl of all people. Carl. Okay, they could have just forced Dr. Hart to write some thing out and...
Emma: Jonas! Dr. Hart risked his life to protect me, to take care of me when I was sick. I owe him this, please. (turning toward camera) We all do.
Jennie: (holding camera) Guys, what's that smell?
Jonas: Smoke, it smells like smoke. Emma hold on a minute. (runs to catch up with Emma) Emma, Emma, just please wait. Think about this.
(camera pans up hill close to ground, showing sheets of loose paper on the burnt ground ... Dr. Hart comes into view)
Emma: (runs up hill toward Dr. Hart, disheveled, discards a piece of paper) Dr. Hart! ...
Jonas: (following Emma, trying to catch up) Emma, get back here!
Emma: Wait!
Jonas: (reaching for his gun, stumbling) Wait for me!
(Emma reaches Dr. Hart, who looks lost, hugging him as Jonas arrives)
Dr. Hart: I'm sorry.
Jonas: Are you shot? What happened?
Dr. Hart: (whimpering) I'm sorry, I didn't... I didn't have a choice.
Jonas: What are you talking about? Talk to us.
Dr. Hart: (face to face close to Emma) Run as fast as you can.
(a black SUV arrives at the top of the hill in the background)
Jonas: (points gun at the car) Get back.
Emma: What? Who is that? Oh, no.
Jonas: Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit.
Watcher: (gets out of the car with Lucy close behind him, pointing a gun at Jonas) Jonas, put down the gun.
Jonas: Put your gun down, okay, we don't have to do this.
Watcher: Don't be an idiot.
Jonas: I'm not going to be an idiot, but we can talk this out, okay? So just...
Watcher: It was Dr. Hart's idea, not ours. (Lucy circles around the SUV)
Emma: What? guys... (Dr. Hart is crouching down, looking up at Emma)
Watcher: Lucy!
Emma: Guys
Jonas: What the hell is going on? Dr. Hart, what the hell is going on? What is he talking about?
(Lucy opens rear passenger side door of SUV)
Emma: Oh my...
Dr. Hart: Gina! (Gina emerges from the SUV and runs down the hill to Dr. Hart while Jonas turns to watch them, the Watcher sneaks up on Jonas.)
Gina: Dr. Hart, oh... (hugging him)
Watcher: Jonas! (pistol whipping Jonas, knocking him out)
Jennie: Jonas!
Emma: Jonas, oh my god! (Lucy grabs Emma while Dr. Hart and Gina head for the SUV with the Watcher standing by.)
Watcher: Get her out of here. (Lucy drags Emma away)
Emma: Jonas!
Jennie: Emma, Emma!
Watcher: (pointing gun at Jennie, backing away) Stay. Stay there.
Jennie: (kneeling next to the prone Jonas) Emma! Jonas can you hear me? Emma! Jonas, get up! Emma! (cries as SUV peels out)
Notes
- This video was originally posted three times as video 398, 399, and 400.
- This video reveals that Gina is still alive.
- It may seem as though Dr. Hart betrayed Jonas, Emma, and Jennie; but, he keeps saying sorry as though he was forced to make this decision, so he very well may have been blackmailed into giving Emma up to the Order.
- It still has not been made clear where Gina has been for six years, but she is clean in contrast to Dr. Hart, so one can assume they were held in significantly different areas.
- It is possible that Dr. Hart agreed to betray Jonas, Emma and Jennie in return for being able to see Gina again.
