(Daniel is walking through the woods following Gina.)

Daniel: (sighs) Hey. Wait up. Hey Gina.

(Gina grins at Daniel. Cut to Daniel walking down a steep trail, toward Gina sitting on the ground.)

Daniel: Sit there. No problem.

Gina: (laughs) Are you okay?

Daniel: What? Yeah, I'm fine. Totally. It's no problem.

(Daniel puts down the camera and sits next to Gina.)

Gina: Thanks for coming with me.

Daniel: Like I said... (Gina hands Daniel her water bottle) Oh, thanks.

Gina: Yeah.

Daniel: No problem. (drinks from the bottle) Look, Gina, I know you don't want to talk about your drawing...

Gina: No, I don't.

Daniel: But I still have to ask. How did you know Bree's mom? I mean... when did you meet her?

Gina: (breaks twigs next to her) This is all Sarah's fault.

Daniel: This isn't about Sarah anymore; this is about Bree. Bree was my... Gina, I need to know everything you know. Right here, right now. L- I lost my best friend! She was my-

Gina: So did I, Daniel. Dr. Hart was my only friend. He was my family. He's also the person that ruined my life.

Daniel: I'm sorry.

Gina: You can't ever understand what Verdus put me through. My mind, memories, images... Everything's scrambled.

(Gina pulls a flower off a nearby bush and rips its leaves off.)

Daniel: You don't remember meeting Bree's mom, do you?

Gina: (shakes her head) All I see is a face.
