Mallory: Daniel, I'm so sorry. (Starts to cry.) I c- I don't even know what to say right now. I just- I'm just so... sorry. I understand why you're not taking m-m-my calls, and why you don't want to talk to me, but... Please? Please? (Sobs.)
Daniel, I never slept with him or anything. I swear to you. Please believe me. It was just that one kiss. The one you saw. And there was... And there was one other time. But that's it. I promise you. Ray DelMundo means nothing to me. You- You mean everything to me. (Sobs.)
I never meant to hurt you, Daniel. I just- I have this problem where, for some reason, when something in my life goes perfect, I just do something to screw it up. And my life was perfect with you. I mean, you make me s-s-so h-happy. And I don't know w-why I did what I did. I mean, I- I think I need to see, like, a shrink or something. I r- I really do.
But I'm not speaking to Ray anymore. And I miss you so much. Please give me another chance.
(Mallory paces around the room.) You're probably not even gonna watch this. (Grabs the camera and sits on the bed.)
I've been thinking about it. About why I could do something so incredibly stupid to someone I care about so much. A lot of it has to do with my father. He was just- Nothing I ever did was good enough for him, you know? I mean, I got straight A's, I was head cheerleader, I didn't drink, I didn't do drugs... But he always found something to judge me for. Always. And when DelMundo was... Look, I'm not trying to make up excuses for myself, Daniel, I swear. I'm just- I'm just trying to figure this out.
I know a lot of you hate me right now. I understand. I hate what I did, too. Which is why I'm going to put this in your hands. You vote. And whatever the majority decides, I'll go with. So, if you think that Daniel shouldn't take me back, then I won't bother him any more. But if you think that he should take me back, please tell him.
Okay, so I set up a poll on the forum. (Shrugs.) "Yes" means Daniel should take me back. "No" means I walk away. Thanks.
