Transcript

(Sarah, Reed and Jonas are at a restaurant. Sarah is filming Reed eating a sandwich.)

Reed: (talking with his mouth full) What?

Sarah: Um, you're funny when you eat.

Reed: Is that a compliment?

Sarah: I don't know. I mean, I guess. The way people eat, I think it shows what they're really like.

Reed: Are you stoned or something?

Sarah: No! Seriously, I mean, if somebody eats all fast and sloppy, then you know they're probably a messy person. If someone eats all prim and proper, then you know they're, well, a tight ass. Someone who just chows down and actually enjoys his meal... I don't know, I think that person is probably laid back and cool.

Reed: (smiling) You think I'm cool.

Sarah: Wait, I didn't say that.

Reed: You said I eat like a cool person, therefore I'm cool.

Sarah: Reed, I-

Reed: It's okay. You don't have to be intimidated by my coolness. You can be honest.

Sarah: Honestly? Okay. Yes, I think, I think you're cool. Just a little.

Reed: What's taking Jonas so long?

(cut to shot of Jonas flirting with a cashier)

Sarah: Oh. He's trying to make a friend.

Reed: Jonas? Really? I thought he was like asexual.

(Jonas returns to the table)

Jonas: (sitting down next to Reed) What are you guys talking about?

Sarah: So... you got a thing for lunch ladies, huh?

Jonas: You know, you're like a, you're like an eight year old.

Sarah: Yeah, and you are like a senior citizen.

Reed: (laughing) Oh, shoot, I gotta call Estelle.

Sarah: Who is this girl?

Reed: She's my friend in Pittsburgh. She's gonna let us crash at her place. Oh, by the way, we need to bring costumes.

Jonas: Costumes?

Reed: Halloween? This friday? Ring a bell?

Jonas: Seriously? Costumes?

Reed: Yes!

Sarah: Whatever. Stop avoiding the subject. What's up with you and counter girl?

Jonas: What? Her? (pointing at cashier) Come on, she's, she's just nice.

Sarah: Did you give her the recipe to your secret sauce?

(Reed chokes on his drink)
