New organized summary

This summary turned out to be well-organized. I did some editing on the page, so the verb tense would be consistant. I also removed any reference to the audience (we learned...etc.) to keep the narrative in the third person (point of view). In addition, there seems to be many, many links on the page. Does anyone think there are too many? Author(s) of that section, please see my questions/comments/revision as contributions to your work. Please understand: I'm an English teacher, and it is rare that I get to use my knowledge of verb tense, grammar, writing and revision outside of the classroom.  :) --User:Ogog November 23, 2006 (12:03 a.m.)

Apparerntly the standard wiki procedure is to link only the first appearance on a name on a page/section. For example, only the first mention of Bree needs to be linked. Its probably not doing any harm but feel free to edit it to that standard (after, of course confirming for yourself that that is the appropriate standard to use.--modelmotion 08:25, 24 November 2006 (CST)
it'd be nice if we could tie in the videos in which the events occur, and their timedates... -capi (not user at lgforum yet).

Thanks

im just a sophmore in high school and i just rant on and on and dont pay attention to my tenses. So thanks for doing that! Im glad Bree is reaching all kinds of audiences.

Credits

I understand that its not standard procedure to give credits to authors on wiki pages. However this page was a special request from the creators and I personally do not see any harm giving credit to the major authors{s} provided they understand its an exception for this page. Its always dangerous to make exceptions but we have a lot of young viewers who should be encouraged to write. If they desire personal credit for their contribution we could just list them and perhaps encourage them to keep on contributing to this page and the wiki in general. LGpedia can be a great learning tool and I personally feel that wikis are the future. Perhaps we could get Ogog to manage this page like a "school project" and give them a little more latidude. Just my personal opinion.--modelmotion 08:25, 24 November 2006 (CST)

By all means, if Merryprankster gave the lion's share of work to this page, then give credit, but I think this talk page is the appropriate place for such credit, not the main wiki page. I appreciate the work of everyone who has contributed here, and if we see more kudos to editors given on talk pages or the user talk pages, I'm heartily for it. --Brucker 21:06, 26 November 2006 (CST)

Editing

I am also impressed by merryprankster's thorough work (I don't need any credit). I am new to wikis, but I know my grammar. I will pitch in when I can and where I can in helping merryprankster's work be the best it can be (especially after all of his/her hard work). (I wish my tenth grade students WANTED to write!)

So is the next step, so to speak, clearing up the links as the revision and editing gets finished? ----User:Ogog November 24, 2006

If the excessive linking bothers you, then you are welcome to take some of them out. However, keeping the story up to date and enticing to new "viewers' is probably the top priority. If you enjoy editing there are also plenty other pages on the LGpedia that could also benefit from your skills.--modelmotion 00:15, 25 November 2006 (CST)
Actually, the linking doesn't bother me. I was just reviewing other areas of user talk where the excessive links were brought up. I don't necessarily enjoy editing, but I don't mind chipping in. I have been working on some of the fan fiction pages (HSA) because I am sure more die-hard fans would rather work on main pages. I am new to wiki editing, so I am taking things slowly. I'd hate to make extra work for people by messing something up. As far as keeping the story up to date, I assumed that it was a priority for those interested like merryprankster or those who view more frequently than I do. I will contribute what I can to make this page reader-friendly. --User:Ogog November 25, 2006 4:26 (EST)

Yea, I am sure the merryprankster will be keeping it up to date. Its great to see such enthusiasm. I am relative new to wiki too but one of the good features is that errors can be "reversed out" using the history feature.--modelmotion 03:44, 25 November 2006 (CST)

I have revised the latest version of this page for spelling, grammar verb tense and clarity. Nice story! I have been busy with life, family, work, etc. I hope to chip in more often. I don't think I logged in, so this edit is listed by my IP 71.245.65.248 ----User:Ogog 2:40 EST 26 December 2006

Timeline

I think it would be nice to include a link to the Breeniverse Timeline on this page. Although I'm not sure where is best to put it.
