Season One

Who is lonelygirl15?

Lonelygirl15, a.k.a. Bree, is an intelligent, yet awkward and geeky teenager. Raised in a strict, isolated household, she lacks many of the social skills possessed by her peers. She never went out with friends much, and spent much of her time reading or playing juvenile games, such as interacting with her three stuffed animals, Thor the bear, Owen the turtle, and P. Monkey. Bree was home schooled, and she and her parents moved around a lot, which limited her social experiences and left her without any true friends. For a short while she attended high school, but the social pressures, teasing and her lack of experience proved too overwhelming for her to bear. However, she did leave her short stint in public high school with one friend, Daniel. Later on, we find that Bree also has one other connection from her short school experience, Cassie.

Her Beginning

In June of 2006, Bree bought a webcam and began posting on YouTube. At first, she posted simple, silly clips of her and her stuffed animals, which she explains were edited by a friend. Later on, however, she opened up to the audience and began sharing more and more about herself, her life, religion and troubles. Bree explains that her religion often prevents her from doing normal, teenage activities. Along the way, she introduces Daniel (as DanielBeast), her best and only real friend. Although he just sits on the bed and reads magazines most of the time, he occasionally participates in her clips, such as their spoof of each other, "Proving Science Wrong... with Lonelybeast and Danielgirl15".

Daniel and Bree spend more and more time together, going on hikes, swimming or just sitting in her bedroom. Bree's father asks Daniel to film Bree's play for her annual religious summer camp. Daniel refuses, and Bree's father reacts negatively, straining her friendship with Daniel. Afterwards, tears are shed and angry words are exchanged between the friends. Daniel posts a video explaining how he intends to attend her play, though not to film it, much to the surprise and happiness of Bree. Having gotten over the first hurdle in their public relationship, Bree excitedly shares that she has been chosen to participate in a sacred ceremony for her religion. Bree does not share many details about this religion except to say that she is truly committed to her faith.

Her Rebellion

Daniel invites Bree to a party, something she has never experienced, and with people she only met during her short time in public education (and who also teased her for her intellectual curiosity in science class). Her parents forbid her to go, but Bree decides to sneak out anyway. Much to her dismay, her father is waiting for her when she gets home. She is promptly placed under "house arrest," and her father forbids her to see Daniel anymore. After this first rebellious act against her parents, it seems as if Bree has become addicted to sneaking out, or perhaps she just relishes her newfound freedom. Daniel invites her on various "dates" and Bree is confused about teen love. She's never had a boyfriend before, and obviously never experienced a kiss, so Daniel's desire to be something more than friends befuddles her, especially when he kisses her at another party.

Her Religion

In the video A Change In My Life, Bree sheds some light on the ceremony for which she has been chosen to participate. For the ceremony, she has to learn a new language, go on a special diet, learn special steps, take iron supplements and receive weekly injections.

Although Bree promises to have a dinner with Daniel, she realizes that she has to attend an annual Fall Equinox ceremony for her religion. Again, her mysterious religion tears Daniel and Bree apart. She decides that her religion is more important to her than her only friend. She gains a "helper," whose role is to assist her in preparing for the upcoming ceremony. She is already studying hard, dieting, taking pills and receiving mysterious shots. Nevertheless, she enjoys this new female friend. Daniel, still angry, follows Bree and her helper, Lucy, in order to figure out the woman's purpose and motives. Bree sees the videoblog of Daniel following her and is upset. She tells Daniel via videoblog to leave her alone and stop following her. She also warns him about the power of those in her religious order. Daniel ignores her and begins to become alarmed by the extent to which her religion affects events in Bree's life.

Her Ceremony

Daniel finds inconclusive, yet disturbing stories about a man associated with Bree's religion, Aleister Crowley. He follows Bree and her helper yet again and in a secluded, wooded area stumbles upon the ceremony. As Daniel films part of the secret ritual, he notices that he is being watched. Fleeing through the darkness, he escapes into his car before being caught. After that, he follows Bree's helper Lucy to her apartment and waits until she leaves, breaking in and finding pictures on Lucy's computer of himself videotaping the ceremony, along with maps of locations in Texas, Arizona, California, Alaska and Alberta, Canada. Shaken and paranoid, Daniel is convinced that Bree's "cult," as he calls it, is following him as he followed them. Bree hears of this and becomes extremely worried about Daniel's safety. So he goes "underground," staying at a friend's home to hide from the cult. Daniel calls Bree, finding out that under the instruction of Lucy and other cult members Bree has lied to him about the ceremony, which was faked. As it turns out, Bree knows very little about purpose and date of the actual ceremony. Furthermore, Bree's father seems to have little information about the injections he was giving to her. Bree realizes that Lucy will not answer any of her questions. With Daniel's encouragement, Bree decides not to participate in the ceremony, and her parents surprisingly support her decision. Meanwhile, Bree is contacted by Gemma, an old friend, who warns her of the power and influence of the "Order". This prompts Bree to reunite with Daniel at his house.

Her Getaway

While at Daniel's house, Bree's parents contact her to tell her that she should sleep at Daniel's for the night, an extreme contrast to the conservative parents Bree has known. A few days later, Bree and Daniel, both worried, decide to return to her home after receiving no responses to their numerous phone calls. Upon arriving at the house, and from within the safety of Daniel's car they witness her parents leaving with Lucy and a Deacon. Once the car drives off, the two enter Bree's house to examine the scene. Hidden inside the P. Monkey puppet, Bree finds a note and some money left by her parents. The note advises her to stay with Daniel. Daniel and Bree worry about whether or not Daniel's house is a safe location. They make the decision to run away. They sleep in the car for a few days before settling in to a motel. Bree seems to be her usual silly self, but Gemma warns her that she is being followed by a "Watcher", a member of the Order who is stalking them. They flee again, finding another motel. Daniel is upset with Bree for not taking the situation seriously.

Her New Friend

Bree is left a video comment by Jonas, who wishes lonelygirl15 and Danielbeast a Happy Thanksgiving. He does not give out much background information about himself, and says only that his parents mysteriously disappeared while sailing six years ago, and expresses his sympathy for Bree, a fellow "orphan". Meanwhile, Daniel and Bree return to their motel room to find it ransacked. With all of their money stolen, and now having only the small amount left that Daniel is carrying, they flee once again. Daniel becomes increasingly aggravated and wants to go back home, but Bree is not convinced that they are safe. Bree receives a vlog from Gemma who fears that she, too, is being followed by a Watcher. Scared to go home, Gemma hides out at a friend's home, noticeably distressed, much like Daniel when he realized he was being followed. The situation for Bree and Daniel grows increasingly worse when Daniel is informed by someone named Tachyon that his car is bugged with a tracking device. Deciding that the safest choice is to abandon the car, the now-homeless couple has to resort to dumpster diving for food and a dirty abandoned warehouse for shelter. In November 28th online chat session, it is suggested that Bree and Daniel accept the help of Jonas, who is apparently rich, unemployed and lives alone in a large house. However, Daniel and Gemma are not convinced. Bree chooses to stay with Jonas, but Daniel decides to return home.

Her Betrayal

Tachyon posts a video claiming that Gemma was lying about being in London; apparently she is in California and still active in the Order. This, along with Daniel's abandonment of her, drives Bree to sulk for several days. Meanwhile, Daniel decides to go back to Bree's house and investigate, finding evidence that leads him to break into a pharmaceutical warehouse. Bree decides to take action herself and begins by calling her friends and family to see if anyone has had contact with her parents. She initially seems to find no helpful information, but in a call to an uncle, receives a coded message from her father, indicating that he is okay and requesting that she meet him. She reminisces about her old friend Cassie with whom Bree made some prank phone calls during their brief friendship. By the time she finishes making her calls, Bree concludes that the "Gemma Incident" is good reason to avoid contact with those in "The Community."

Her Reunion

On Christmas Day, much to Bree's surprise and elation, Daniel arrives at Jonas's house. However, on the following day, Jonas and Daniel wake to find that Bree is gone along with Jonas's car, one of his credit cards, and some of his cash. Daniel decides to examine Bree's recent videos more closely to find an explanation of her disappearance, and realizes that she has been communicating with her father in code, and has gone to meet with him. Jonas and Daniel try to track down Bree and eventually find her meeting with her father. The Order suddenly appears and shoots Bree's dad, while Bree escapes with the boys. Bree spends several days depressed, while Daniel and Jonas each try to cheer her up.

Her Rejection

Daniel posts a video announcing that he "hooked up" with Bree. Jonas is kicked out of his own house when Daniel makes a special candle light dinner for Bree, but it apparently doesn't go well.

Bree posts a video saying Daniel has lied, and she just kissed him in a act of impulse and there is nothing more to it. Daniel is so upset that he leaves the next day and gets drunk at a local bowling alley. Jonas picks up Daniel, who is too drunk to drive himself home. Daniel is accompanied by a nameless young woman (Katharine McPhee in a cameo appearance), who hangs out with Bree and Jonas while Daniel sleeps off the liquor. Daniel wakes up the next morning with a terrible hangover. Since Bree is frustrated by the antics of Jonas and Daniel, she decides to think about career plans and her need for privacy. Meanwhile, Daniel states that he will no longer pursue Bree, choosing to spend his time playing foosball with Jonas and giving Bree space. Daniel decides to go back to the bowling alley to look for the unnamed young woman, or someone else to replace Bree.

Her Hunt for Daniel

When Daniel does not return from the bowling alley, Bree posts a video sharing her concern for his safety, as no one has heard from him. Bree confesses that she still wants him in her life, though she does not want a romantic relationship. Jonas and Bree go to the bowling alley to look for him. Bree receives a cryptic text message from Daniel that says 'No good' but does not state his location. Jonas talks with a bartender who saw Daniel leave with a local man, so they head for the man's house "in the mountains". It gets late and they still haven't found the "local" man's house, so they stop at a motel, where they are forced to share a bed, to Jonas's discomfort. A couple of days later, Daniel posts a strange video trying to persuade Bree to rejoin the Order. Assuming Daniel has been coerced or brainwashed, Bree posts a video offering to do the ceremony if Daniel is released. When it comes time to trade herself for Daniel, they all escape the Order with the help of Tachyon. Bree sums up what she can about Tachyon and OpAphid, an organization closely affiliated with the Order who has been posting videos for some time, expressing that she wishes to more actively oppose the Order.

Her Getaway, Part 2

Jonas declares that he, too, is sick of running and wants to fight the Order. A few days later, Daniel sees a Watcher in their driveway. Jonas walks out to confront the Watcher and has a brief scuffle, but the Watcher backs off when Bree jumps in front of Jonas. The three run to Jonas's parents' cabin in the mountains. When they arrive, Bree and Jonas go on a hike and search the area without Daniel. This angers Daniel as he is convinced that Jonas is hitting on Bree. They patch things up after Jonas says he has no interest in Bree at all. Daniel finds a package from Tachyon, and he uses it to crack the code on a disk that was left with Bree, which contains files on the origin of the Watcher symbol.

Her Suspicion of Jonas

Bree discovers a Watcher symbol in Jonas's cabin, and concludes that Jonas is working for the Order, like Gemma. She ties up Jonas to question him, to Daniel's shock. After Daniel loosens his bindings, Jonas escapes and takes the car keys with him so that Bree and Daniel can't leave, but not the car itself, as he intends to stay and prove his innocence. Jonas then breaks into the cabin to find evidence that he is not indeed with the Order. He shows Bree and Daniel his evidence and they finally believe him.

Her Investigation

Our intrepid protagonists then head for the coast to stay at Jonas's Aunt Alex's house. Bree tries to atone for her treatment of Jonas, but Jonas, still angry, ignores her pleas for forgiveness. Jonas punctures his hand with a screwdriver while trying to break into his aunt's study and Bree takes him to a vet to get the wound stitched up, as she is afraid the Order will track them down if they go to a hospital. The gang then manages to break into Jonas's aunt's study, and finds that she has been undertaking a substantial inquiry into the organization that Jonas's parents formed as a movement against the Order. Daniel and Jonas pick up Alex from the Airport, and Daniel immediately starts hitting on her, despite Jonas's warnings and Alex's saying that she doesn't have the time for a boyfriend.

Her Training

Bree decided to meet up with Tachyon instead of going to the airport, due to a spat with Jonas. They go to one of Tachyon's secret camps where Bree receives "Bad-Ass" training. Meanwhile, Daniel and Jonas go to a "fashion industry party" with Alex. At the party, Daniel hits on Alex, and Jonas gets extremely annoyed. There is a framed photo sitting on a table that appears to be a picture of Alex and Lucy, but neither Daniel nor Jonas seem to take notice of it, even though it is obvious to Bree, who sees it in the video. Bree decides that she's going to go back to Daniel and Jonas, even though she thinks it will "piss off" Tachyon. When Jonas sees Bree's warning video, he confronts Alex and tries to run away with Daniel. Wanting to give Alex a chance to explain herself, Daniel returns to the house, where Alex coldly reveals that Jonas's parents are still alive and with the Order.

Her Capture

Bree, Daniel, and Jonas meet up at a truckstop after Alex's shocking revelation that Jonas's parents are alive. Daniel and Jonas then try to teach Bree how to play foosball, but to spin is a sin. Bree thanks Jonas sincerely for all that he's done, and apologizes for "being selfish.". After that, the threesome go to Las Vegas, and while there, are found by the Order. After they run and manage to lose them, Bree decides they should stop posting videos so OpAphid won't find them anymore. But it is too late; a rogue Elder soon captures them at a gas station. He then proceeds to subject them to psychological torture, in order to get Bree to do the ceremony, and Daniel to go home. Their plans for Jonas are unclear.

Her Escape

Bree, Daniel, and Jonas escape from the evil clutches of the Order yet again, but no one is quite sure how. At the end of this video, a pair of legs can be seen walking. Who is this? They then go back to Alex's house and follow her. They somehow have their car back, and they say that a Watcher shot a person from the Order. Bree now says that her religion, The Hymn of One is a front of the Order, or somewhat the "recruiting branch." The trio continue following Alex down the coast until they reach Mexico and Daniel overhears one of Alex's phone calls. Bree then reflects on her thoughts while Jonas and Daniel drink. Bree decides to take some action, and, with the help of Daniel, confronts Alex. Jonas decides that it is time for him to reconcile with Alex, and does so. Alex then shares some information about her family's past and her background with the Order. Daniel and Alex hit it off again, so Bree and Jonas explore the city and Bree explains the history of the people there. While at the beach a few days later, however, Lucy shows up in order to take Alex, and Alex tells Bree that the Order has a new girl for Bree's infamous ceremony. BDJ begins to distrust her yet again. For their safety, they move into a bunker once used by former members of the Resistance.

Her Search

While in the bunker, Bree watches a video by Nikki Bower, which identifies a girl from Texas named Jules, as the "new girl". While Bree is investigating this, Jonas tries to help Daniel get over his newly revived drinking problem by filming Daniel while he's drunk. Bree then comments on Daniel's problem and continues to investigate Jules. She then gives more information on the Hymn of One and Jules's possible connection to it. In the meantime, Daniel decides to give up drinking, and he and Jonas try to hypnotize each other to remember what happened during the week they can't remember. They then attempt to recreate the circumstances they remember from their capture. Bree starts corresponding with a Texas girl named Taylor, who claimed to have played soccer with Jules. Daniel and Jonas finally give up on remembering, and the trio decide to go to Texas to meet Taylor, but at the designated rendezvous Taylor's sister, Sarah, shows up without her. After hanging out a couple days with Taylor and Sarah, they all go to check out a lead that Taylor found, but it turns out not to be Jules's house. Afterwards, Bree and Jonas find Jules according to a blog on Jules's MySpace page, and despite Jonas's advice not to, BDJ kidnaps Jules. Bree, in an attempt to help her talk, lets Jules's ropes slack. Bree then decides she'd like some water, and leaves her victim unattended. Jules escapes, but is found the next day, cowering behind a building. She is quickly re-captured.

Her Surrender

The TAAG then decide they want to take a ride in Jonas's car, with Jules tied up in the back. As they drive, they run into a Watcher car, with Lucy and a Deacon waiting outside. Jules jumps out of the car and runs to the agents, despite her bonds. It is only a matter of seconds before Bree joins Jules in a nice chat with Lucy, much to Daniel and Jonas's dismay. After a 20 second pow wow, Bree hops in the car with Jules. Daniel and Jonas run after the car, and demand a very effective command: "Open this door!" Daniel and Jonas then run to their own car, and drive after the Watcher car. They later say they're lost. Taylor (through her hacking skills) discovers that Jules, unlike Bree, is not adopted. Daniel infiltrates a local hospital and steals Jules's medical records; they discover a page with the Epogen symbol on it, and the cryptic note "Trait: Negative." Daniel talks about the loss of his grandmother when he was sixteen, and Taylor comforts him and talks about the loss of her father, and how rude Sarah is being. Bree makes a recruiting video, for the Hymn of One, in which she appears to be completely back with them, but in the video is the message "HELP HER FRIDAY". Daniel and Jonas reconnect with Sarah, and they go to the Summer Camp where Bree did her play. They discover a box there under a tree stump. Bree makes a second video with the message "BENEATH THE BLUE STONE" hidden in it. Daniel and Jonas open the box and discover information from Bree's dad about Bree and his genetic research. Daniel and Jonas begin checking out the Hymn of One auditions, hoping to see Bree, but they only see Carl, Sonia, Barb, and Chris, all dressed in white. Daniel, Sarah, and Jonas wait until the seminar is over, then do a little investigating, managing to get footage of the procedure from members of the audience.

Her Rescue

The clues from the seminar and the videos lead the TAAG to Bree's location, where they kidnap her back. In the following video, Bree is shown to be suffering some sort of mental breakdown. As the gang attempts to deprogram her, she shows little response, except to Jonas. As Daniel and Sarah appear to be growing closer, Jonas and Bree do, as well. Daniel expresses resentment over this, claiming that Jonas is taking advantage of Bree's condition. Sarah then secretly films Jonas and Bree making out, and the next morning, Jonas posts a half-naked video, strongly implying that he and Bree had sex. However, he soon discovers that Bree has disappeared, and the team searches for her. Sarah posts a video, chiding Jonas for being too hung up on his feelings for Bree. When he sends an email to Taylor about it, she posts a video, making fun of him even more harshly. A few days later, Bree posts a video from her cell phone, saying that she is lost and begs someone from the Hymn of One to come find her. Shortly afterwards, Jonas, Daniel, and Sarah hear the Order's helicopters, taking her away again.

The Hunt for Isaac Gilman

Taylor does some research on a bar code that was included in the box that Bree's dad left for her. She discovers that the bar code belonged to the Wyman Foundation in San Diego, California. Daniel then discovers another name in the box -- Dr. Isaac Gilman, a geneticist that they believe works for the Wyman Foundation. However, when they follow the lead to San Diego and go undercover to find him, they are told that he does not work there. After some googling-help from the community, and Taylor doing her hacker-thing again, the gang finds out that Dr. Gilman plays tennis at La Jolla Health and Tennis Club; using a free one-day trial on the pretense they're interested to join, they spend the day at the club with the goal to find someone knowing the doctor. This time, they're lucky: The receptionist of the club reveals that she knows Isaac Gilman and has heard about Bree, but is clearly frightened and wants to meet Jonas and the others at her house later. Before they release the footage of their encounter, the Hymn of One releases another commercial, again with an encoded message: "My Hands Are Tied. She's Being Prepared. I'm Sorry.". The next day, we see what happened at the receptionist's house, and learn that the receptionist was, in fact, Dr. Gilman's mistress for over ten years - and that Isaac Gilman died on the same day as Bree's dad, while on his way to meet Bree's dad. We also learn that Isaac Gilman has a son, Spencer Gilman, who is also a scientist.

The Hunt for Spencer Gilman

In the next video, Jonas tells us that the community quickly found Spencer's MySpace, and that they are waiting for a reply from him. To clear his mind and focus his energy, Jonas drives down to Zavalla and meets Taylor, while Daniel and Sarah take a day off, and apparently end up having sex. Seeing this (or rather, getting the implication), Taylor posts a vlog in which she expresses her disappointment with Daniel, trying to remind him of how much of a slut Sarah (supposedly) is. On the sexual front in her own home, her mother hit on Jonas, which the two re-enact using Troll dolls. The next day, after having some trouble setting his webcam up, Spencer finally contacts the gang, joking about getting fired for all the e-mails he received from the fans. He makes clear he cannot help them right now, but promises to get in contact again if he finds anything related to Bree or the compound. Independently, the Hymn Of One releases another video, and the mysterious insider tells the gang, with the encoded video, "Friday Early Low Tide Yacht Club Parents Slip". After seeing this, Jonas decides he's not going to be "mopey" anymore, and tells Spencer how his dad died as well, and that they wouldn't come for his help if they didn't have to. In the meantime, Sarah is annoyed by Daniel, because he's taking their growing relationship very serious, while she just wants to have fun. Taylor and Jonas talk about this and other things while on their way back to California, where they're going because Taylor had a huge fight with her mother. Unfortunately, they won't arrive before "Friday Early Low Tide", so Sarah and Daniel have to go alone. At Jonas's parents yacht slip (sans a yacht), they find a submerged box with research information from Dr. Gilman. However, at the end of the clip, Sarah, in her typical manner, causes the just-found documents to fall into the water, rendering much of it illegible. Desperate, Daniel posts Dr. Gilman's letter on the web, and the united power of the community manages to decipher what was lost. Daniel then sends the letter to Spencer, who responds with another video, in which he expresses gratitude for the TAAG sending him this final letter from his father. He also notes that he now sees his father would've wanted him to help them, because it's the right thing to do.

The Labrat

Seeing how Spencer is now willing to help, Jonas and the others decide to meet him unheralded, on the Neutrogena parking lot. Spencer isn't mad, but afraid he might get in trouble for their appearance. Spencer and Taylor quickly befriend each other and, again with the help of the community, decipher the research-documents from the stash. Unfazed by this, the Hymn of One posts yet another commercial, and the mysterious insider informs the TAAG that there is a "Road Block. I Am Coming To You. Everyone Must Be Careful. Order Everywhere. Stop Questions. Answers May Be Too Difficult For You." Shortly afterwards, Daniel receives a text message, telling him where to meet the insider (now referred to as Deep Throat, after the Watergate-informant), and goes to meet her. He learns that Bree was put under a lock down, and that the Ceremony is going to be within a month. This information keeps Spencer's mind going enough for him to post a video from work, summing recent events, and declaring that the purity bond has nothing to do with The Trait. His nerdy side is revealed here when he makes numerous sci-fi and fantasy references, and in the next video, which shows his attempts to teach rock climbing to Jonas, despite the fact that he's never actually rock climbed himself. This is followed by extensive orientation and coordination training for Daniel, as well as "maze solving" exercise for Taylor. This training, Spencer says, will help everyone complete their part on the mission. And it does. They succeed in getting the blood sample, with a little help from TCC, the person who has been leaving secret messages in Bree's blogs and is revealed to be Jonas's Aunt Alex.

The Serum

Alex does not stay for long, though, and the TAAG hides in a makeshift lab built at a place belonging to the dad of a friend of Spencer's. While Spencer regularly terrifies Taylor by pretending to hear something or implying she made grave mistakes, he also manages (with her help) to synthesize the serum necessary to make Bree trait negative; in the meantime, Jonas and Daniel grant themselves some "bro time" by going golfing. Unimpressed by their latest victory and the departure of Alex, the Hymn of One releases yet another commercial, the text foreshadowing the upcoming Ceremony. The reason for the Hymn's calmness is soon revealed, when a shrilling alarm informs the group that someone broke into the lab. Luckily, the serum was stored inside a safe, but all of Taylor's and Spencer's notes are destroyed during the break-in. Still terrified by this, the TAAG decides to move out, and the Hymn posts a cheery video congratulating Bree on her upcoming Ceremony.

Her End

The group stays in hiding, until Daniel receives a call from Deep Throat, informing him that the Ceremony is today at 4 PM, but Deep Throat doesn't know where yet. They have to go to a meeting spot in Santa Monica, where they'll get the information, but the exact location is encoded. Daniel asks the community to decode the message, while they'll move out into the general Santa Monica area. The mood within the group isn't good. Sarah and Taylor want to quit, and Daniel and Jonas are visibly upset. Soon after they start driving, the car breaks down. While Jonas is fixing it, Daniel accesses the forum and reads Deep Throat's decoded message. Jonas has just finished fixing the car when a Watcher appears and starts approaching them. They quickly get into the car and take off, but the Watcher is following them. A car chase arises, ending with the Watcher pushing the TAAG's car off the road. All of them survive the crash (with some visible scratches), and they continue to flee on foot. They hide in a warehouse Spencer finds, uploading videos via wireless LAN or mobile phone connection, while the Watcher searches the warehouse for them. They change positions in order to evade being caught, but lose Sarah in the process. In the meantime, Nikki Bower is at the meeting spot they were supposed to be at, meeting a cohort of Deep Throat and receiving a note. In addition, she gets contacted by VoyBoy, who recognizes the warehouse the group is hiding in and leads her to it. Nikki and VoyBoy get spotted by the Watcher, but Nikki B. knocks him out with a fire extinguisher. The two find Jonas and the others, and all of them (including Sarah) run out of the warehouse, trying to still reach the second location in time. Daniel does meet Deep Throat, and they get a clue and the directions to a hangar where the Ceremony is taking place. During their advance, they realize the container with the Serum broke in the car crash. Luckily, Spencer made a backup, but it's back at the lab. Since they have no time to waste, they reluctantly allow Sarah to go get it while they proceed to the hangar. Once there, Spencer successfully solves the clue as referring to musical notes, and they open a trap door in the ground leading to a medical facility belonging to the Order. After searching the complex for some time, they finally see Bree, but are attacked by a Shadow before they can do anything to help here. Daniel kills the Shadow, but not before the Shadow stabs Jonas. Desperate, they call for Sarah to bring medical supplies, but they have to keep moving due to Shadows being on their track. Finally, Sarah arrives and does bring supplies, allowing Spencer to stitch up Jonas. They move out to help Bree, but when they find her, it is too late. Her heart monitor has flatlined, and Bree is dead.

Shaken, depressed and scarred for life, they barely make it out of there, and give free rein to their emotions. In his grief, Daniel accuses Jonas of being at fault for Bree's death, only to break down crying in his arms seconds later. Jonas says nothing at all, and we learn that Sarah truly had feelings for Daniel after all, just as Taylor hoped Jonas would notice her some day. Alas, seeing that the boys' hearts belonged to Bree all along, they both decide to leave. In a last video for the evening, Jonas tells us that Bree recorded a delayed message that arrived on Daniel's phone after the Ceremony, explaining that she returned to the Order and went through with the Ceremony in order to save the others from the constant threat of the Order. She says that she found "something" that she doesn't have yet, that is "the key to everything," and begs them to help all the other trait positive girls, even though they couldn't help her. The future of this request, however, is uncertain, as, at the time of the video, Daniel has wandered off as well, and the only people left to fight are Spencer and Jonas.

Season Two

His Depression

Jonas is still depressed about Bree's death, as is everybody, and two unexpected people show up and try to cheer Jonas up, without much result. They are two party guests, Toby (Jonas's cousin), and his girlfriend Carla. Jonas isn't the only character struggling with his emotions and trying to move on. Daniel and Jonas have both stated that they are finished vlogging, though Daniel did mention that he hadn't yet opened the e-mail Bree sent before her death, and that he may read it soon (possibly leading to another video). He also announces he has a new love interest, Mallory. Spencer, in an effort to come to terms with the end of the their adventure together and say goodbye, made a trip to Zavalla, Texas, where he reunited with Taylor and Sarah one last time before returning to work at Neutrogena.

His Family

Videos start appearing by a user called LaRezisto, and show Jonas's parents. Jonas responds angrily as his parents haven't tried looking for him. Meanwhile Daniel opens the email, only to discover it unleashed a virus on his computer. After shutting down his now-defunct machine, a mysterious figure appears outside of his house. Meanwhile Sarah decides to change her ways and gets a job. LaRezisto give more clues to The Whartons' home, and he pays them a visit, meeting his sister Emma, and making a shocking discovery. LaRezisto makes progress in finding the next ceremony girl. Daniel offers to let Jonas crash at his place and tells him about his new girlfriend Mallory, and Jonas accepts the invitation. Meanwhile, Taylor has used the clues in LaRezisto's latest video and figured out Emma is the next Ceremony girl. However, before Jonas gets a chance to take Emma and run, the Order infiltrates his parents' home and demands Emma. Daniel shows up to rescue them, and Jonas, Daniel, and Emma are able to escape.

On the Run Again

Jonas and Daniel take Emma on the road, running from the Order once again, and ask that Sarah bring the serum to them. Emma finds out about the LG15 videos and is very angry at Jonas for not being truthful with her. Meanwhile, Sarah is living a wild life and reveals that she has lost the serum. Jonas is furious with Sarah and begs her to try and find it; however, Sarah is having serious issues about her life in general. She soon reveals that she, in fact, does have the serum and had lied because she wanted a "normal life." Sarah reappears with the serum and shortly thereafter, the Order catches up with Jonas, Daniel, and Emma, once again demanding Emma's surrender. It is at this point that Emma jumps on one of the Watchers and appears to have killed him. Jonas becomes convinced that Emma has special powers that can kill members of the Order. This idea is further fueled by a new LaRezisto video telling us that Emma in fact does have special powers; however, Daniel is very skeptical. Although Jonas wants Emma to stay with TAAG and not take the serum, Sarah tells Emma she should make her own decisions, and begins giving Emma the injections in secret. She also helps Emma secretly get a ticket back to her parents. Jonas is furious with Sarah, but continues investigating, and soon sees Carl and Sonia acting suspiciously.

In the Rented House

After coming back from being on the run with Emma, Jonas rents a house for Daniel, Sarah, and himself to live in while fighting the Order. Jonas and Sarah go on a stakeout to follow up on Carl and Sonia's suspicious activities, but get spotted by a Watcher and have to flee. Meanwhile, Emma posts a video explaining that she will no longer be helping LaRezisto and has decided to take her last injection. The very next day, however, after Daniel and Jonas go to Griffith Observatory and see Carl and Sonia dropping off a trait positive baby with her new parents, Emma shows up on TAAG's front porch wanting to help. After Emma comes back, LaRezisto posts another video revealing that the person behind the videos is a woman named Claire, who is trait positive and who says she wants to help Emma understand the "powers she possesses." Jonas, much to the dismay of Sarah and Daniel, takes Emma to Claire and lets Claire take Emma deep into the woods. Seconds after Claire takes Emma, a Watcher appears and tells Jonas that Claire is a "LaRezisto Shadow." While Jonas is in the woods, Sarah has decided to turn over a new leaf and reveal all of Daniel's secrets to Mallory. However, much to Sarah's surprise, Mallory already knows the "secrets." Unable to find Emma, Jonas returns home, where Daniel and Sarah post separate videos about his homecoming and his reluctance to tell them what happened.

Getting Emma Back

Jonas and Daniel go to hunt for Emma, whom they have found out is in L.A., and on their return are tailgated "down the entire coast" by a Mercedes. When they get home, Sarah exclaims that Sonia is outside their door, confirming that Sonia was the driver of the Mercedes. Amid much protest from Sarah, Jonas and Daniel let Sonia in. Sonia tells them that she she is no longer a member of the Hymn of One and has much information that can be used to help take down the Order.

Emma posts videos in which she appears to be forced into saying that she is all right. Claire adds that no one should attempt to find them. With Emma still in captivity, Jonas and Daniel join Sonia to take the new ceremony baby back by force, leaving Sarah behind, much to her dismay. Sonia is later beaten severely, apparently by a HoO member. On the same day, Chris posts a video denying the existence of the Order and warning TAAG to quit trying to fight the Hymn of One.

Sarah, feeling under-appreciated, tricks Mallory into coming with her to a favorite bar of Chris's. Sarah claims that she wanted to extract information out of a drunk Chris by using a flirtatious Mallory. When Mallory realizes what Sarah has in mind, she (Mallory) storms off. But after Sarah pleads with her and assures her that Daniel has returned to normal, Mallory agrees. She flirts with Chris and gets an unexpected kiss from him. However, the only thing she extracts from him is that something big is to occur the Friday following that day.

At home, when Daniel finishes watching the video A Woman's Touch, he throws a fit. Daniel believes that Sarah manipulated Mallory into flirting with Chris, but Mallory defends herself, asking Daniel to "give [me] more credit." After Sarah gloats about getting the information from Chris, Mallory treats her rudely for the first time, telling her to "shut up." Finally, the four (Jonas, Daniel, Sarah, and Mallory) all agree to follow Chris, because they think he knows where Emma is.

That Friday, everyone still a little tense, Sarah tells the boys that she followed Chris home. They wait in front of his house to tailgate him to his "big event." The big event turns out to be a partnership between Verdus Pharmaceuticals, the Wyman Foundation, and the Hymn of One. Lucy is there as well, and TAAG narrowly escape her clutches. To TAAG's dismay, none of the information they garner appears useful in the search for Emma's location.

Soon afterwards, Emma is told to make another video in which she has discreetly placed clues. Fans and TAAG were frustrated. The code seemed unsolvable. But that was only because the last piece of the puzzle was yet to come. Four days later, Emma encodes the final clue in Goodbye For Now. In this video, it's revealed that Emma will no longer be posting videos because she is to perform the Ceremony soon.

Soon after, Taylor posted in the forum that she has returned to help solve the code. After laying out that Emma used Native American Sign Language, QtheC got the credit for solving it. Using the final video made by Claire, in which Emma says "the Elder is the key," it is revealed that "Pleasant Manor" was the encoded message Emma was trying to send.

The TAAG quickly snaps into action. After facing many obstacles, they reach Pleasant Manor. Jonas reveals that he recognized this place because Alex's mom took them there for a party. With Sarah's help, they get inside, but are soon quickly chased after by men in black suits. Jonas, in his desperation, uploads what they have filmed so far in case of their deaths.

The next video shows Emma in a white room, pale and traumatized. Her father asks her to repeat what had happened. Emma shows the viewers that after Jonas had uploaded the video, he discovered a secret passage. TAAG followed the passage, which lead them to a room. They hide in a closet upon hearing foot steps. Claire and the rogue Elder enter arguing. The rogue Elder wants Emma ready to perform the Ceremony, while Claire, his Shadow, wishes for more time. He revealed that his organs are about 90 years old. Once they leave the room, Jonas quickly picks up the search for Emma once more. He finds her hand-cuffed to a chair in a white dress. Just as he releases her, Claire knocks Jonas to the floor and seizes Emma, gun at her head. Daniel, the only one threatening Claire and the Elder with a gun, is forced to drop it. The rogue Elder gives the order to kill TAAG, but instead gets shot at instead. Claire returns the gun to Emma's head. Before anyone gets a chance to do anything, Virgil, the Watcher Jonas met in the woods, shoots Claire in the head. He orders TAAG to get out of there. Jonas returns Emma to his parents. His mother and father promise Emma that Jonas will never bother her again.

Jonas announces again that he will not be running from the Order, but fighting them. The next day Emma posts a video saying that she misses her friends and that she and her parents are hiding out. Daniel is told he cannot come back to class, but on the same day, Mallory convinces their professor to give him another chance.

The Lullaby Project

Jonas connects Verdus Pharmaceuticals, the Wyman Foundation, and The Hymn of One by the one thread that they are all fronts for the Order. Later, Jonas and Sarah go to investigate this merger, known as the Lullaby Project, with little success. Two days after Sarah and Jonas's investigation, Emma creates a video telling us she has been sick and having very strange dreams. Daniel, Jonas, and Sarah go on a stakeout, following a Lullaby Project truck to a nearby rest stop where Jonas and Sarah go missing, leading Daniel to believe they had been abducted. After two days of no word, Daniel contacts Taylor who has not heard from them, increasing his worry. Four days following their disappearance, Jonas and Sarah are able to upload a video telling us they are trapped in the back of the Lullaby Project truck. The next day, they are released from the truck by Chris, Carl, and the Claudia.

The next day, Sarah explaining that, following their release from the truck, she and Jonas were shown around the Lullaby Project and ate lunch with them. She explains that because there is only a cable connection to the internet, their online activities are limited to five minutes, significantly cutting them off from the world outside the Project. Daniel sees the video and is satisfied that they are safe, yet still lonely. Later that same day, Jonas and Sarah flee the Lullaby Project with on bikes, believing that a member within the Project was found on the Verdus website. A fight ensues and Jonas leaves Sarah in the desert. He later returns for her, but finds her missing.

Patient #11 and Dr. Hart

A few days later, Jonas posts another video from inside a motel room with a dial-up modem. He revealed that he received a package with no return address on the envelope, containing a VHS tape. The contents of the videov appeared to be a normal meeting between a doctor and a patient, who had been dubbed "Patient #11". Both Daniel and Jonas believe Sarah to have caught a bus for home. Daniel, back at home, laments that Mallory isn't able to spend much time with him, as she is working with Professor DelMundo on a film.

Jonas finds another VHS tape, which appears to be similar to the original, containing the doctor and "Patient #11" having a conversation. He sends the full version to Taylor in the hope that she may be able to discover something else from the video. Emma is still hiding out with her parents, but announces that she had gotten a "butterfly rash."

Taylor posts a video soon after, where she discovers the a split-second shot of the doctor's face in the video Jonas had sent. She quickly realized his identity and explained that the doctor is the man from the Lullaby Project: Dr. Calvin Hart. She becomes increasingly worried regarding Sarah's absence. Jonas soon after returns to the Lullaby Project and confronts Dr. Hart, finding him packing things hastily at night. Dr. Hart later reveals that he was involved in a project called the Hart Study, devoted to turning girls trait positive. He further reveals that Patient #11, Gina, is dead.

Sarah reveals that she is still at the Lullaby Project camp. After befriending a young woman by the name of Jennie, she decided to stay for a few more days. Meanwhile Emma returns to Jonas in Mexico and they head back to the rented house. The focus shifts to curing Emma until Jennie posts a vlog stating that she is concerned for Sarah, who has now turned to the Hymn of One.

Saving Sarah

On a small surprise visit to the film studio, Daniel's assumptions that Mallory is having affair with Professor Delmundo are proven true, as the two are shown kissing. Daniel is furious, but soon joins in on the plan to save Sarah.

TAAG, now including Dr. Hart and Jennie, head to Mexico to rescue Sarah. They end up forcibly taking her back her the night of her welcoming into the Hymn of One. After a week back home, Sarah returns to her normal state, only for everyone to discover that Dr. Hart may not be who he claims, and that he had lied the entire time: Gina is still alive, and the only reason Dr. Hart wanted to stay with TAAG was to find Emma. With his mission completed, the Order kidnap Emma and it is discovered that Dr. Hart's plan all along was to switch Emma for Gina in the ceremony.

Bloodlines

With Emma kidnapped and the ceremony just around the corner, the TAAG scramble to save her. Jonas and Daniel met the community in San Francisco, then, having bugged Lucy's car at the same event, they successfully track her to William Porter's house, where Emma is being held captive. Although they were originally supposed to meet up with Virgil there, Jonas and Daniel decide to enter the house on their own (realizing only then that the house was owned by Verdus's president), but were not successful in saving Emma. Daniel went into William Porter's hospital and faced Dr. Hart, but, while meeting Emma in person, returned empty-handed. It was later revealed that Daniel discovered that Dr. Hart and Emma had a plan to poison William Porter. After Emma's rescue, the gang take Gina with them to hide. In the rush to escape, Dr. Hart posts his last message from a stairwell. It is implied that he does not make it out of the chaos alive and that Gina and Bree are actually sisters.

Season Three

Emma's Healing

Daniel posts a video assuring everyone that Emma is alive, but very weak as a result of losing so much blood during the ceremony. The next day Jonas tells us that Emma has been doing little more than crying and sleeping, and that Gina is nearly silent to everyone. He also told his parents that, while Emma appreciated their attempt at contact, the TAAG would now be Emma's family.

Life in Hiding

In hiding, tensions ran high due to close quarters and the boys being outnumbered four to two. Jonas and Jennie fight constantly about Emma being able to make her own choices. While Sarah watched Gina build a bench, Jennie and Emma play Boggle, creating a secret message for Emma's parents. After receiving the message, Emma's parents logged into the chat to talk to her, begging her to come home. Emma was still uncertain about the choice she wanted to make, Jennie was extremely certain that Emma should at least make her decisions by herself, making a video in which she admitted to liking Jonas, but stuck to her story that the arguments were solely for Emma's sake. The next night, Emma leaves a tearful goodbye, as she had leaves to reunite with her parents. Things fall apart when Jonas discovers Emma had left, lashing out at Daniel and Jennie, who he thought had some part in it, however, Gina admits to having given Emma the money to leave. Afterward, Jonas posts a sincere apology to the gang, regretting his reaction to Emma's departure and telling her that he understood and was proud of her.

Sarah becomes jealous when Jennie volunteers to go to the store with Daniel, and they erupt into a fight about at in the local store. Although the fight ends within moments, Jennie was reasserts that she is not interested in Daniel. Daniel grows closer to Gina, helping her with her first blog, but angering her because of his inquisitiveness about her drawings. The next evening, while Daniel stays sober and Sarah and Gina play beer pong, Jennie and Jonas talk and apologize to each other about their respective videos, kissing at the conclusion of the video.

The Hunt for Bree's Mom

In her drunken state, Sarah decides to challenge forum members with the ripped-up remains of Gina's drawings. The following morning, Daniel blows up, accusing her of violating Gina's privacy. During the argument, Jonas recognizes the drawing as Bree's mom. When Daniel questions Gina about the drawing, she replies that she can only see a face and that all of her memories are very fuzzy. Shortly thereafter, Jonas decides to relocate the group, after noticing William Porter's Shadow following them in footage from his camera.

Gina posts her second video, in which she questions how she can see Bree's mom's face if she never knew her. On the same day, William Porter's Shadow posts a video, promising the TAAG that there will be consequences for his master's death. The next day, as Daniel and Sarah are busy looking over the Shadow's video, Jonas discovers that Gina has disappeared. They finally find Gina at Bree's old house. Gina states that she can remember coming to that house to play when she was a child, and Daniel and Jonas drag her to the car. Heading for home, they spot Lucy and the Shadow following them in a black SUV.

A few days later, Jonas informs viewers that he and Daniel had gotten in a fight over whether to control Gina, and is skeptical on whether or not they could remain together. Gina announces that the team will hold a video chat to decide what to do, which erupts in arguments. The following day, Sarah discovers that the Shadow is still following them and announces that she and Daniel will not join Gina in her quest to find Bree's mom. The Shadow soon thereafter appears in the house, apparently attempting to abduct Jennie. He chases her to the front lawn and is hit and killed by a car.

Following the incident, Sarah and Daniel realize that Gina will need their help and decide to aide her in the search for Bree's mom. In an attempt to help, Sarah tries to track down Carl, and, in the process, reveals that they had slept together at the Lullaby Project. Carl then shows up at the rented house, offering to trade any information he knows for a date with Sarah, which she less-than-reluctantly agrees to.

It is soon discovered that Bree's mom, now identified as Elizabeth Avery, is the Chairman of the Board of Verdus Pharmaceuticals, and the TAAG decide to stake out the upcoming board meeting. The stake out goes less than ideally, and Gina is kidnapped.

Family History

Gina is returned within hours to the rented house, seemingly drugged, and carrying a disc covered in numbers. Jonas appeals to the community to crack the code so that they can look at the files on the disc. The code is quickly cracked and a video depicting a young Gina and young Bree playing is discovered. A message from Elizabeth was also on the disc, requesting a meeting with Gina. Asking the fans for an opinion, Gina decides to meet Elizabeth with a camera in her purse.

At the meeting, Elizabeth conforms that Gina is now trait negative and no longer of any use to the Order. She also reveals that she knew about the plan to kill her husband, and was against the Order. A Thug picks up Gina's purse, soon dropping it. When Gina recovers it, Elizabeth is discovered to have run off. Daniel then swears his devotion to finding and stopping anyone that may have conspired in Bree's murder.

The following week, the TAAG are at home, relaxing, when a dog bark ringtone is heard coming from the house. Gina discovers the phone in Sarah's room, and they discover a new, cryptic voicemail left by Elizabeth. The message was discovered to be "Friday. Neighborhood park. No cameras," and Daniel realizes that the park is likely the one near Bree's house. At the meeting, Jonas confronts Elizabeth about Bree's death. She reveals that Bree's Elder is still actively seeking trait positive girls and that she overheard a name when he was discussed: "Mary Annette".

Mary Annette: The Key to the Puzzle

After poring over possible leads regarding the name, Daniel reveals that the "Mary Annette" they are searching for is actually a marionette. In doing so, he also reveals the long-elusive text of the P. Monkey email, in which Bree recounts being offered a marionette as a poor replacement for Purple Monkey. The email points to a nearby shop, Alcombe Antiques, as the source of the puppet, and the team sets off to the shop.

Sarah distracts the store owner as Jonas and Daniel sneak into the back room. They hunt through papers until finally finding a letter requesting a marionette, dated the same week as the P. Monkey email. The letter bares a strange-looking coat of arms, but before the TAAG have time to question it, they discover Lucy leaving the shop, carrying a package, and run to remain hidden. Jonas posts and appeal to viewers who may have seen the coat of arms before, which is soon replied to by Steve from the KateModern series, claiming that he has seen a member at the The Hymn of One London Centre wearing the coat of arms on his clothing. The member is soon revealed to be Lord Carruthers. Meanwhile, feeling dejected, Sarah decides to leave with Carl.

While trying to determine who will go to London, Jonas throws a party to get everyone to relax. Daniel's alcoholism returns and Jonas takes off alone the next morning.

Mission: London!

In London, Jonas meets with Steve to find Lord Carruthers. The two go to Lord Carruthers's office, but are forcibly evicted from the building before they can find any information. Steve leads Jonas to Rupert Van Helden, who he believes may be of some help. Rupert refuses to comply, however, and they leave. As they are walking through the streets of London, Jonas and Steve are shot at. Lauren then supplies Jonas with the disc Charlie had discovered in a nuclear bunker of Michelle Clore, an Elder, speaking to the camera in a mysterious language. In the video, Michelle Clore mentions Bree, Jonas, Daniel, Gina, and Jennie, and Jonas begs viewers to translate it. The translation reveals that Clore has called for the death of one of the TAAG in exchange for ascension in the Order. Jonas flees to LA, only to have a close call with a potential assassin on the way to the airport. Steve wrestles with the assassin, who ends up shot. Jonas and Steve run and Jonas decides to take Steve with him back to LA.

Vote Edward Salinas!

Daniel is sent a message to meet Steve and Jonas at the border between Mexico and California, but their reunion is cut short by another would-be assassin taking a shot at them and hitting Steve in the arm. The TAAG runs, and Steve takes himself to the hospital for treatment. They return the next day for Steve and manage to get the license plate number of the assassin's car. Taylor hacks into the DMV's database and discovers that the car is registered to Edward Salinas, a local politician. Daniel shares this with viewers, only to be interrupted by Salinas himself issuing a threat via Daniel's laptop. Jonas forms a plan to confront Salinas at an upcoming fund raiser, while Daniel accuses Steve of giving away their whereabouts. The TAAG infiltrates the fund raiser, but is unsuccessful in trying to kidnap Salinas due to Steve's fault within the plan. Immediately, Daniel and others join in towards an assumption of Steve's true beliefs, leaving him alone in the woods to fight for himself. After leaving Steve, the group decides that they need to fight back against the Order in any way possible, and that the easiest way for them to start is to take down Salinas.

After returning home, the TAAG is welcomed back by a drunken Carl and Sarah, deprived of their stay in Cabo. They then decide as a group that in order to get close to Salinas, they need Jennie to infiltrate his campaign headquarters. At the campaign office, Jennie is forced into writing a brief on the campaign's stance on health care for underprivileged women, which is well-received by Salinas. Jennie is soon confronted by Elizabeth Avery, who informs her that Emma is once again in danger of a Ceremony.

Girl, Interrupted

Worried for Emma's safety, Jonas issues a plea for Emma to contact them, and they soon discover a letter and an iPod with a cryptic play list left at their door. The play list eventually led the TAAG to Jonas's dad's thesis, which in turn leads them to discover Emma is hiding in a Resistance bunker. They immediately left home, and decide to rest in a motel on the way. Unfortunately, the motel room is ransacked, leading them to discover that Elizabeth Avery had, in fact, concocted the entire story about Emma's Ceremony, and was looking to use Emma's blood for herself. Rushing to the bunker, the TAAG find no sign of Emma, but instead a very dead Elizabeth.

Jonas then gives Emma a number, which he claims to be safe. Emma arrives at the meeting spot, only to discover a Watcher trying to locate her. With the help of the rest of the TAAG, Emma escapes and is reunited with the group. It is only days away, however, that Salinas is yet again hot on their trail. Sarah awakens early in the morning, receiving an unread video email message with a file attached to it. As she watches in distrust, she witnesses Carl strapped to a chair with a bomb tied around his neck. The message claims that if they don't show up within the next 24 hours, Carl will die.

Tired of listening to the arguments between her house mates regarding who will go to save Carl, Emma decides it is finally her time to make a move, as Salinas won't risk killing a trait positive girl. After finally convincing her friends to let her go, she heads to the Sacred Spirit headquarters, where Carl is being held, and makes way for his rescue. Setting up her camera, she speaks directly to Salinas, daring him to kill her. As she had expected, the bomb stops and she and Carl escape safely. Combining this information with that of the recently found DVD, they make a decision to stop uploading videos and go "offline" for a while.

Prom: It's to Die For

As promised, after a week without videos, Gina returns to the scene, revealing that they have been hiding out at Big Bear Lake since last Friday's drastic measures. They have decided the fighting from home is bringing out the worst in everyone, and at least here, Jonas and Daniel can take turns keeping watch. But Sarah on the other hand, is getting bored of her life on the run, and therefore pitches the idea of an 80's themed prom. Looking back to their own secluded lives, Gina and Emma agree, bringing everyone in on the idea.

As the night goes on Sarah gets upset with Carl at first because of what he is wearing and then because he is always on his phone making calls and sending e-mails. Daniel has purchased cameras for everyone to use to document the night. Soon Jonas grows suspicious of Carl and sees him in his car. Jonas goes into the car after Carl returns to the party and finds a swipe key for the Hymn of One. He shows it to Sarah, Daniel, Jennie and Emma while Gina is still inside the cabin. Sarah, defending Carl, says it was from when he worked there. Jonas then shows that there is a sticker on the card from the previous week, proving he still goes there. He then decides to confront Carl. During all that Carl has given the location of the cabin to the Order and Lucy with a bunch of Watchers are now in the cabin and area. Carl, before being confronted by Jonas, goes to Gina and says he is sorry. Gina thinks it is because of what happened in Tick Tick Boom. Carl is very nervous making us notice that is not really the reason and then Jonas comes into the house and tackles Carl to the ground. Jonas then ties up Carl in one of the other rooms and returns to the prom. At this time Lucy comes in and frees Carl, while Sarah and Daniel are making out. Jonas, Gina, Emma and Jennie are talking about leaving the house when a laser is show on Jonas's head Gina pushes him out of the way and gets shot. While everyone is running Jonas checks for a pulse on Gina and says there is none.

The following day, Daniel, Emma, and Jennie post their videos of the prom showing the events of the night as they have them on their cameras. Jennie posts a secret message telling TAAG where to meet up. After Daniel, Jonas, Emma and Jennie meet up, with Sarah still missing, they go to the Hymn of One Headquarters. They use the key card that Jonas took from Carl to get in. They find Carl, Lucy, Salinas and Lord Carruthers. Salinas says that he has proof that an enemy has fallen. An unidentified noise causes Lucy to take Lord Carruthers and leave the building. Jonas rushes in and takes the camera from Carl just after hitting Salinas with the gun he brought. Outside, they upload the final video -- the video illustrating Gina's final moments.

Forever In Our Hearts

After a reunion of sorts between those who survived, Sarah suspiciously makes her way back to the house - feeling more than unwelcomed. No one can even look at her the same due to her relations with Carl, and she is sick of it. Carl used her along with everyone she ever cared about, so why should she have to pay for his devastating mistakes? Some good news provides itself, though. The group is hooked on killing the murderer that killed their friend, letting all know, Salinas will pay. Luckily, Jennie's ties to Mr. Thompson give them a needed advantage, allowing her to flirt her way into his home, drug him to sleep, and steal any information they can use to burn the culprits out of office! And that's just what she plans to do. With a stack of encoded papers and messages from the front office of Salinas headquarters, Jennie posts a video asking Evergreen, a friend from the forums, to help her in her gruesome task. Evergreen, receiving this information, learns that Salinas has been using Carl's risque-company "Sacred Spirit" to wirelessly transfer hundreds of thousands of dollars into his personal account, and alerts the authorities to issue an investigation. But upon arriving on the scene, both the police and local news crews walk on the fact of a near dead Mr. President, believing as to so a game played only by the order. Within minutes, television programming is stopped everywhere, releasing to the press shocking breaking news: Congressman Edward Salinas, has recently committed suicide! To celebrate, Daniel and Jonas post a video to the online community, and take Carl on the way. He will pay! Carl, while tied up and dispositioned in the views of TAAG, decides to not release any new information to the members of the battle versus good and evil. Instead, he insists that they take his life, allowing him the relief of knowing he did not die at the hands of the lords he has chosen to fight for. But Daniel, Jonas, Jennie, Sarah and Emma have their own plan in the matter. They do not murder him under forced will, yet rather put him under the watchful eyes of the U.S. justice system, allowing a sort of relief to them all. So it comes as a surprise when, moments later, they receive a call confirming that yet another death has been drawn through the case of Political Suicide reformation: Carl, is gone forever. Hearing of these inconveniences, TAAG desperately searches throughout their belongings for any evidence of an Order trail, but what they find, is much more compelling. A hidden camera, documenting every word spoken, and every move taken, from the very beginning. The group tries to find what course of action to take and finally deciding, after turning to the internet for answers, to target Lucy. In the midst of all this, Emma decides to take leave and decides to go to a boarding school out of the country, which raises tension among Jennie and Jonas, so much that they break up and he leaves to find out answers by himself on the road.

While searching out by Emma's old bunker, he finds information that leads him Lake Clandon, where Jonas finds a briefcase with a signed mission statement of The Resistance, with none other than Carruthers signature. Later on, while out still scouting, he finds a video on his windshield warning him not to go back to the other, as they would be safe and that a solar eclipse was coming. Jonas decides to visit his parent's home for answers. In doing so, he finds out that he is the last hope of The Resistance and only he holds the key, which turns out to be a small microchip implanted in his chest when he was little. But before he can find out what's on it, Jonas is taken captive by Lucy.

At home, tensions rise as the rest of TAAG receives a video and information on what is happening to Jonas and where to find him. They are told there will be a distraction made for them and Daniel turns to the community to see if the group should go and save Jonas, which they finally decides that should. As they rescue Jonas, they also capture Lucy. They give the microchip to Taylor for her to scan and she finds a location on it. While Jonas is interrogating Lucy, she apparently kills herself, as to avoid leaking any information and her body disappears mysteriously. After that, Jennie and Jonas decide to explore the location found on the chip, where they find a suitcase owned by George Kiel, where it is revealed that trait positive girls are descendants of an ancient fertility goddess. As this is going on, Taylor reappears explaining that she found some information that connected her father to The Order and asks TAAG to head back Zavalla. When there, they find a alter of Order propaganda in the closet of the guest room in Taylor and Sarah's dad and find a video that tells them to head to Wiliam Porter's grave, which has a message: "Finish him at Lufkin".In the midst of it, Taylor goes missing and when Daniel goes to find a t-shirt of his in Sarah's suitcase, he finds a letter revealing that Sarah was sent to TAAG by her father and Carruthers to retrieve the others in exchange for the safe return of her mother and Taylor. When Daniel confronts Sarah, she knocks him out and telling him she can't let them hurt her family...

The Ascension

Thanks to Randy, TAAG finds Taylor trapped at a house in Lufkin. They rescue her, but on the way out, Jonas is captured by several Order Members. Outside of the house, Jerry is waiting for TAAG. He tells them he helps Sarah with things and hands them a cell phone - "It will all make sense," he says. Later that week, Sarah posts a video at 2:00 AM giving TAAG the coordinates of the boat she, Jonas, and a new Ceremony girl are on. Jonas, Jennie, and Daniel make it there in the morning, but are shot at, and Daniel gets stuck in some pipes. Jonas runs into the Ceremony girl - Nadia - and they are both captured by the Order. Meanwhile, Taylor is on the beach and is soon joined by Spencer. They sneak onto a supplies ship and make it onto the main boat. On the boat, Daniel witnesses Sarah's father yelling at her. Jennie meets up with Taylor and Spencer on the boat, but Spencer is shot. Jonas then posts a video claiming that the Order is about to kill him, Sarah, and Nadia. Nadia is taken away, and Jonas gets out of his ropes. Sarah and him witness the beginnings of Nadia's Ceremony, but Jonas runs in and kills the Shadows running it. Nadia soon dies of blood loss, however. Back on the beach, Jonas and Sarah meet up with Jennie, Taylor, Spencer, and Daniel. Daniel visits a store to get Spencer a blanket, but it's not enough to keep him alive. Taylor and Jennie take Spencer to a hospital while Daniel, Jonas, and Sarah stay on the beach. However, Daniel leaves soon and says that he's going home. Jonas then leaves - his last words "Tell her I'm sorry," in response to Sarah asking about Jennie. Lucy finally posts a video to end the lonelygirl15 story - of her watching the events of TAAG's final video from high above.
