Allison: Hey guys! I hope you all enjoyed the Summer Solstice! I know I did. Things have really been looking up lately. I love learning about our faith, and I’m getting a lot closer to my grandma. Let’s see... oh! You probably noticed that my glasses are gone. I got my contacts yesterday, and I really like the way they look (close up of Allison's eyes), although they are a little uncomfortable, but it’s okay! What else... well, I’ve been working on my Java skills in the last couple of weeks, and I think I’m really starting to make some progress. Check out my latest program.
(Cut to a shot of Allison's computer screen. She narrates as she demonstrates the use of a Java program.)
See, it's a calculator, and I can use it to perform any of the four basic operations. I just enter two numbers, whatever numbers I want, and then the operation, and it tells me what the answer is. And then if I want to do it again, I just say yes. And... let's do really big numbers this time, we'll do like 9532 and... 8, and we'll multiply this time. We'll just say no, because that's enough.
(Cut back to Allison.)
Isn’t that cool? Yup, things have really been looking up, except... well, my headaches haven’t gone away, or, rather, they keep coming back. Penguin, I think you might be right. I think the shots might be causing them, because the pain is always the worst right after I get one. Then it dies down after about a day and a half, but then as soon as I get another shot, the headache comes back. I’m going to ask my mom if I can stop taking them, and I guess we’ll see how that goes... anyway, bye!
