Transcript

(Bree is standing outside somewhere, in front of a long brick wall.)

Bree: So the other night, Daniel's friends said that I should go and get my driver's license. Obviously my parents would never go for it so Daniel said that he would teach me how to drive.

(Daniel pulls up in his car.)

Bree: Hey.

Daniel: Hey, what's up?

Bree: (trying to open the passenger door) You locked me out.

Daniel: (moves to unlock it) Oh, sorry.

(Cut to a different location. Daniel is getting out of the car, and Bree is getting in the driver's seat.)

Bree: So, you're excited to teach me how to drive?

Daniel: Uh, no. Not really.

Bree: Are you scared?

Daniel: More afraid of your dad actually.

(Inside the car, Bree in the driver's seat.)

Bree: Which one's the brake?

Daniel: Oh my God. On the left.

(Bree is trying to learn the controls.)

Daniel: That's right the uh...

(Bree accidentally turns on the windshield wipers.)

Bree: Ah!

(She turns them off, and puts her hand on the automatic transmission.)

Daniel: Okay, there you go. Okay, put it in D.

Bree: D? Does D stand for Daniel?

(She starts driving, the car is jerky.)

Daniel: Easy, easy, oh my!

Bree: It's going too fast!

Daniel: No, trust me, this car doesn't go too fast.

Bree: Look, The steering wheel's broken!

Daniel: Your foot's broken.

(The car approaches a red light, Bree makes a right turn without stopping.)

Daniel: You just ran a red light.

Bree: I though you were supposed to go... you can go right on red.

Daniel: Yeah, you can. But you're supposed to stop first.

(Bree makes a face at Daniel. The scene cuts to Daniel filming himself in the passenger seat. The car is stopped and Bree is gone.)

Daniel: Okay, so I succeeded in pissing Bree off, again. And I don't even know why. I don't know what the hell's going on. (he walks to some sort of loading dock area where Bree is sitting.) There she is over there. (he places the camera on the edge of the loading dock and leaves it filming.) Why won't you even talk to me about it?

Bree: (angrily) Because you don't understand.

Daniel: What's there to understand? You don't, you don't even know what you're doing.

Bree: Yes I do.

Daniel: What are you talking about? If I was you and I was working as hard as you are right now I'd want to know what it's all for.

(Bree and Daniel start shouting over each other at this point. Not everything they say is intelligible.)

Bree: I do, it's a huge honor for me. Okay, whatever it's just not their fault that they're not...

Daniel: You don't even think it's weird that they're not telling you about this whole thing.

Bree: No, I don't think it's weird. They don't know, okay.

Daniel: What do... what are... what do you mean they don't know anything?

Bree: They're not Order of Denderah, okay?

Daniel: Order of what? What?

Bree: (throws up her arms) Just take me home.

Daniel: Just come back. Come back here.
