Scared To Go Home is the eighty-fifth video in the lonelygirl15 video series. Gemma suspects that she is no longer a mere spectator in this game.

Transcript

(Gemma is standing in front of a brick wall outdoors. She looks rather distressed. Background noise of traffic can be heard.)

Gemma: Hi, so I wasn't sure I was going to do this...video blog and um... (Gemma looks around.) I'm a little scared to go back to my flat at the minute. Okay, Saturday night, me and my flatmates went to see this play called "Two Graves" and it's, umm, it's a story about murder and retribution, and for some reason I just had this eerie feeling that I was being followed. At first I just ignored it, and, umm, I assumed I was tense because of the subject matter of the play, but then I went to the pub to grab some dinner, and, umm... during my entire meal, I was convinced that I was being watched. Before they brought over the bill, I had to go to the toilet, and, umm, that's when I saw him. In the corner booth, there was this man, in a black suit with dark sunglasses. I didn't see his hand, but I could've sworn he was a Watcher. I was too afraid to go home so the last couple of days I've spent with my friends. I'm not sure what to do. I don't know why they would be following me, not unless... not unless they know that I was trying to help you. Bree, umm, you mentioned you would be in the chat room so, maybe I'll be able to talk to you then. Anyway, I've gotta go. I'm gonna go to my friend's place and upload this.

Notes

  • This is the first Gemma video to be in letterbox format.
  • Some people thought that when Gemma said "corner booth," she meant a stall in the bathroom, which would be odd, since public places generally have seperate-sex bathrooms. Gemma would have meant the corner restaurant booth, which she presumably glimpsed on her way to or from the toilet.
  • This video also implies that the Order has Watchers working for them all over the world.
