The Gold Coast is the sixth video in the LG15: The Last video series.

Transcript

(The sound of a landing airplane is heard. The video fades in from black, showing footage of an airport. Cut to various scenes from around the Gold Coast. Cut to footage of the beach. Antonia turns the camera on herself.)

Antonia: I can't believe I'm here: the Gold Coast. It's so beautiful.

(Antonia films people on the beach. She digs her toes in the sand. Cut to a shot of the sign indicating Surfer's Paradise. The shot pulls out as Antonia steps into the frame.)

Hey, everyone, I have the address that you found. Thanks so much.

(Cut to several scenes of the city. Cut to Antonia in front of a high-rise.)

I'm heading to Jayde's place now.

(Antonia walks inside, toward a pair of elevators. She presses the button to go up. The doors open. Cut to a shot of the floor numbers going up from inside the elevator.)

I don't know what I'm gonna tell her.

(The elevator doors open. Cut to Antonia outside of Jayde's apartment, the camera hidden in a nearby plant.)

Okay, here goes... (Antonia knocks on the door.)

Xavier: Hey, can I help you?

Antonia: Are you--? Oh, I'm sorry. Um, is Jayde here?

Xavier: Uh, no. I'm her old roommate. I haven't seen Jayde in about six months.

Antonia: Six-

Xavier: Who are you?

Antonia: Six months?

Xavier: Yeah. Who are you?

Antonia: Sorry. I'm Antonia. I'm an old school friend of Jayde's. Um, I just had some information to give her; do you know where she might be?

Xavier: Just- Hang out here a second.

(Xavier turns back into the apartment and Antonia holds the door open. He returns with a piece of paper.)

Xavier: I don't know if this helps, but she sent this weird letter not long ago. (Hands the paper to Antonia.) Old school friends, right?

Antonia: Yeah. Um, ages ago. Primary school.

Xavier: Oh. I don't really get it. (Takes the paper back.)

Antonia: Yeah. Me neither, sorry. But thanks.

Xavier: No worries. Antonia, right?

Antonia: Yeah, it's nice to meet you.

Xavier: You, too. (Heads back into the apartment.) See ya, Toni.

Antonia: Bye.

(Xavier closes the door and Antonia grabs the camera. Cut to Antonia in the stairwell.)

Antonia: I'm so sorry, Chas. It said something about an Adventist Hospital, but I don't know where that is. Can anyone help? Maybe she's there. God, I hope we're not too late.

(Cut to more footage from the beach. Cut to Antonia filming the words "I ♥ OZ" in the sand as they get washed away by the tide. Cut to black.)
