I’m On Fire is the four-hundred forty-ninth video in the lonelygirl15 video series. It is also the thirty-ninth video of season three. This video is correctly called "I’m On Fire", with a punctuation apostrophe (right single quotation mark) instead of a typewriter apostrophe - it resides here for easier accessibility.
Transcript
(Daniel is sitting at his desk.)
Daniel: Man, I'm so pissed off right now. Gina's safe; she's home with us. But Bree's mom? Vanished. I mean, she's MIA. What the hell? (Gets up.)
(Cut to Daniel back at his desk.)
You saw Friday's video, right? That look on her face when Gina asked her if she killed Bree? What was that? It's just- It's driving me crazy.
(Music plays and a shot of Elizabeth from The Devil Speaks is shown. Cut to Daniel standing.)
Sure, I admit that at first I was against the meeting. Fine. But... After seeing her face again... I mean, how can this woman be out there, living her life as though nothing happened? Her daughter is dead!
If she arranged for the murder of her own husband, what's to stop her from arranging the death of her own daughter? And what about Gina's bag getting stolen before Bree's mom said what happened to Bree? You think that was a coincidence? I don't think so.
I'm gonna find out who killed Bree. I want the person responsible. Who ever it was.
(Cut to shots of a Deacon from On The Run.) Could it be the Deacon? (Cut to several shots of Lucy.) Was it Bree's helper? (Cut to shots of Carl from Mexican Mating Machine and Stock Options.) Or could it be right in front of us?
I'm gonna find out the truth. Do you hear me?
Notes
- Daniel's quest for the person responsible for Bree's death is similar to the hunt for Kate's killer in KateModern, ongoing at the time of the video's release.
- The title of the video is likely a reference to the Bruce Springsteen 1984 hit single by the same name.
- Daniel refers to The Devil Speaks as "Friday's video", yet it was posted on a Saturday.
